This was a great place to stay! The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil needed, the heating worked beautifully, the beds were comfortable. We did not use the bed in the living room. The garage has been made into a "bunk room" which is where my husband and I and our single adult children stayed. Our married children and their several babies and toddlers stayed in the bedrooms. The babies did not sleep well and cried during the night, but our "bunk room" was noise proof and we never heard a thing or were disturbed - a big bonus!! The living area was large enough for all nine adults and three toddlers to relax comfortably. My only complaint is that this property is NOT within walking distance to the slope in ski boots, in our opinion. It's not that far but it is ALL uphill and very steep, this unit is at the far end from the slopes, and we found it extremely strenuous although we are all in good physical condition! Because the snow was so poor and the place was basically empty, we were able to drive right up to the lift and drop off whoever was skiing, but we all agreed the hike would have been exhausting otherwise! We agreed that we would have driven the skiiers to the dumpster down the hill and let them walk from there, which would have been more manageable. But that is the only complaint. Be sure to have chains or four wheel drive if the weather is inclement at all. There was no ice or moisture when we arrived, but the road up to the condo is steep with a hairpin turn, and had there been ice or snow on the ground, we would not have made it. Lucky for us, we did fine. This would be a breathtaking place to stay in summer!
Good location and good size for a large group
We had 13 people (6 adults and 7 children) and there was plenty of sleeping room for everyone.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, so 'dining in' was easy.
It's a good location that is just above the Chile Express so walking downhill to get
started was easy.
