We had so much fun staying in this cozy, clean and welcoming home! Our family had a blast skiing at Sugarloaf, the mountain was about 10 minutes away and easily accessible! Our four legged family member loved hiking near the lake and warming up by the wood stove. We hope that we will be able to return soon!
Great place with a beautiful view!
Our family had a wonderful time playing in the snow on our winter vacation. The property offered privacy and seclusion with a beautiful view. However, we were still within 5 minutes of groceries, gas, restaurants, & snowmobile rentals and 15 minutes away from Sugarloaf.
The house is well maintained and has some unique architectural features like the stained glass window in the Master Bedroom and the wall of windows overlooking the lake. The weather was unusually cold and windy (think -15F) but the house heated easily and we were quite comfortable.
Overall, it was a great experience! We look forward to coming back to this property soon!
I'm so glad you had a nice time. I was worried about the cold. It can be brutal up there. I hope you were able to keep the wood stove good and hot. That's the best way to get the place cozy and warm. Thank you so much for the nice review. I hope we will see you again sometime.

Very special spot
We loved staying here. It was extremely convenient to Sugarloaf and we really appreciated how quiet, unique, and tasteful the house and property were. It was great to feel the history of the place and the way the classic elements of the house (exposed beams and copper accented wood stove) were blended with the more recent upgrades was perfect. Super comfortable and the setting was beautiful. We will return for sure.
Perfect - Relaxing "Getaway From It All"
Such an adorable house with a ton of privacy. Even with 7 people, it was perfect size to allow everyone to have their space. We brought our dog who also enjoyed free roam on the property. Accessibility to groceries was also extremely convenient. Would recommend for everyone. Thank you so much! Looking forward to hopefully staying there again! :)
Nestled on the banks of the south branch of the Dead River, exquisitely private setting with no neighbors in sight. View of the majestic Bigelow mountains with the jewel of Sugar Loaf front and center and only 7 miles away.
