About Amy Ng
I am a Certified Public Accountant working for the Federal Government , and I also running my property rental business. Recently, I have been focusing more on vacation rental due to its dynamic feature. Vacation rental is one of my many passions, dealing with customers and learning from each other. I have developed excellent relationships with my clients via Ottawa vacation rental as well as Victoria BC rental (Property Number 515604). Every guest has his/her unique requirements and I have been trying to fulfill most of them. As this is my first year to welcome short vacation rental guests in Ottawa, please refer to a number of decent reviews for my Victoria vacation rental since I started my vacation rental in 2013 (VRBO property No. 515604).
Amy Ng purchased this House in 2009
Why Amy Ng chose Whitehaven - Queensway Terrace North
Since this is a triplex unit with wooden steps, it maintains an unique cottage look. I renovated the whole backyard and side interlock walkway, this property has drawn many renters in the past 5 years. Starting from this year, I have decided to broaden my horizon of vacation rental business in Ottawa since I have been doing very well in Victoria. The Ottawa/Gatineau region looks like an elaborate painting blended with a modern metropolitan city. Nestled at the meeting of three major rivers – the Ottawa River, the Gatineau River, and the Rideau River – Canada’s capital city has 19th century architecture and outdoor landscapes made to charm any visitor. The most popular site in Ottawa is the Rideau Canal, which cuts through the heart of the region. Many residents and tourists can be seen having picnics or relaxing on an afternoon break near the canal. In the winter, when this massive body of streaming water is completely frozen over, the canal transforms into the world’s largest ice skating rink. This alone is a sight enough to make the trip. Also Gatineau Park is another one reflecting nature beauty which will takes one’s breath away. The Park is huge. The Pink Lake hike is a must see. This park is wonderful with unique plants and wildlife, one can do some cycling, camping hiking giving peaceful and tranquility to one’s life one can also walk around Pink Lake, taking about 20 minutes to go around the lake. It is called Pink Lake but in fact it is in green color reflecting different kinds of minerals. In fact, it is named Pink Lake after the Pink family living there. Furthermore, if one wants to be a bit more adventurous, the Skyline trail has excellent views especially spectacular in the fall. The Mackenzie estate (Past Prime Minister of Canada) is worth the visit.

The place is a one bedroom apartment 15 min drive from parlament hill
The loft is a one bedroom apartment with a coach at dinning/kitchen room . The loft is in a quite location near park and beach, with stores and restaurants around. The owner was nice and tried to help but I think some problems can be avoided in advance. It was offered minimum 2 nights with included parking, after I booked a few days later I was told by the owner that we needed to pay for a parking or can park off street for free (it wasn't told on advertising from the beginning , it was told that it is included). I also was overcharged for pet fee and was told that I will credit it back with my security deposit . On the day when we arrived we didn't get information for access to WiFi ( it was included in rent) and I had to turn on my cell phone with additional charges for rooming to call and text message to the owner. The owner responded to my cell when I told her that my cell would not work. The kitchen was stocked with minimum staff included one pan and one saucepan which are not useful. I hope the owner will more clear update information for future travelers on website and update some kitchen supplies.
Enjoyed our stay in Ottawa. Fantastic quiet location. Back yard a big bonus for having a morning coffee.
Wonderful Quite Loft
I was shocked to read the review posted by David July 3. Unfortunately this person has given a completely mis representation of this rental. My sisters and I rented this lovely 1 bedroom loft for our sister and her husband who arrived from Calgary June 1st. They stayed until June 15th and they were absolutely thrilled with this wonderful little loft. They found it quiet, comfortable and they were able to come and go as they pleased and after a day visiting with many family members were able to return to their own bed and relax with their feet up. It was very clean, and they enjoyed going outside into the back yard, sit and relax, or go for a walk to nearby establishments . The owner of this establishment was very accommodating and friendly offering to get my sister and husband anything they were lacking or needed. They spent time chatting to this very charming woman and were very happy to have this lovely spot to spend their vacation. We would and have recommended this little spot to anyone who wishes to come to visit our City. Thank you
One Bedroom Loft at Britannia Beach
This is a cozy one bedroom loft, a block from biking and walking paths next to the Ottawa River. It's an easy walk to Andrew Hayden Park, Bayshore shopping centre, shops, drug stores, restaurants, and a bank. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating.
Very clean and quite
This was a great alternative to staying in a hotel with full kitchen we able to prepare most of our meals in our unit. The location was great my wife and I are into cycling and you can catch the cycle path just at the end of the street downtown is about a 10 Km ride but you can also get to Westboro which is much closer and has a lot of great shops and restaurants . Look forward to staying there again next summer!

Also, if one wants to be more adventurous, the Skyline trail has excellent views especially spectacular in the fall. The Mackenzie estate (the Past Prime Minister) is worth the trip. Take your canoe to Meech Lake. (Start at trail 40 and paddle North - there's a cool stream to paddle away. The terrain is very varied, views are great, the trails are well marked, getting there by car is a breeze, and parking is easy. Some of the trails are challenging, and involve a lot of climbing, fording streams, and so on. But some of the trails are easy to do in walking shoes, so there really is something for everyone. The most beautiful time of the year is in the fall. Leaves turn color and it is the most beautiful scene. You can walk for hours and children can enjoy playing in the leaves. Beautiful in the winter and summer for people who like to bike in the summer and snow shoe in the winter. Absolutely beautiful!
