7 minutes to Folly Beach and 10-15 min to downtown Charleston. Fully renovated brick ranch in James Island. This house was professionally decorated and offers exposed brick chef's kitchen with Viking gas range, open concept living room with lots of natural light, a pool table and bar, hardwood floors, large park-like setting backyard with oak trees and fire pit. There's a very large and private master suite on one end of the house and 2 bedrooms + a studio on the other end of the house. It it strategically located to go and enjoy the beach at Folly Beach, downtown Charleston or explore Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, Seabrook Island, Edisto Beach and all the wonderful places that the low country has to offer.

We love the location and the character of this home. Our family enjoys the large backyard with fruit trees and gorgeous low country oak trees. This is our dream almost beach house :)

Our family loves both the sea and the city; this house is perfectly situated close to Folly Beach and the charming downtown Charleston. It it also strategically located to explore Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, Seabrook Island, Edisto Beach and all the wonderful places that the low country has to offer.

Good location, nicely decorated and great for larger parties!

I stayed here with my 6 bridesmaids for my bachelorette party and it was great! The large fenced yard is perfect for entertaining, the inside was decorated so cute including a wine cooler, pool table, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us to get ready in, and we really loved it! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the driveway only holds 2 cars, and we did not know that there were such strict parking regulations in Charleston so our cars were in danger of being towed if not parked properly. The was not listed on the Owner's rental instructions, so just be aware. :)

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your review, we're glad you enjoyed our home! With regards to parking, the driveway holds 2 cars/SUVs and there's plenty of street parking. The only concern should be to make sure that you do not park against traffic; Charleston does enforce parking rules just like anywhere else :)

Everything was perfect!

Plenty of room for a group of 7 girls to hang out and get ready in. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The propane tank to the grill was missing, so we couldn't grill out, but there was plenty of room in the kitchen that it didn't make much of a difference. Right in between Folly Beach and downtown Charleston.

Owner's Response: Hi! I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay! The grill does NOT need a tank, it's hooked to a pipe gas just like the stove (it's mentioned in the instruction letter) :)

Not a very beachy neighborhood, but very cute house!

We had a really good time on our bachlorette party. The house was perfect for our needs. It is very nicely updated. We did NOT appreciate the lawn guy coming at 7 am on Friday morning. The house was VERY convenient to Folly beach and to Charleston. I only wish we had a longer vacation.

Nicely renovated home with convenient access to downtown Charleston and Folly Beach!

We had an excellent time staying at this property. The renovations made good use of the space and made the home very functional. The open concept common area was perfect for spending time with everyone while multiple activities were going on. Everyone could be included no matter what they were doing. The home is close to Folly Beach and downtown Charleston which meant easy access to relaxation and the sights of the city. The pool table was a great piece in the home and offered entertainment for the whole family. We had our family come for a bbq and the backyard offered a great entertainment space with the deck, trampoline, adarondak chairs and fire pit.

Pros: The backyard entertaining space was great! The basketball hoop, trampoline, and deck were all used by my family. The entire house was clean, neat, and nicely decorated. Every single bathroom was very nice! The Euro design was an excellent choice for the spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and host our family for a bbq. Maria was super responsive when we reached out and provided excellent instructions for house access, use of the tv, fans, alarms, etc., and checkout. Thank you, Maria!!

Really there isnt much we can say negative but we noted the following negatives,

Cons: There were no dressers in any of the bedrooms which was a little inconvenient. There were metal shelves in each closet which worked well enough but my kids are little and keeping their socks and undies neat was challenging without drawers (still no biggie just a little inconvenient). The master bedroom on the other hand would benefit more from a chest of drawers to store some personal things.

On arrival, the place smelled like it just had some fumigation done (however that was much better imo than having bugs everywhere). We opened the windows the second day to let it air out for a couple hours, bought some air freshener to spray and a candle, after that it was right as rain.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this place and would definitely re-book in the future!

We loved the location of the house. Very close to Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. Clean and comfortable. Linda, the property manger, was just awesome. She was very attentive, had a very warm and charming personality. If ever in Charleston we would definitely rent this house again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was perfect for our family and we enjoyed coming back to the house after our son's graduation to relax with family. Property manager Linda was great and ready to assist in any way! Highly recommend this place! Thanks for the wonderful memories!
