About Melody Norton

The property owner, Roger Paul, was born in nearby York, Maine in 1919 and spent his childhood in this house. He was a 97 year old World War II veteran who had very fond memories of growing up in the house. The home was built by his great Grandmother Paul in 1900. When Roger Paul passed away in September 2016 the family decided to keep this home and 38 Main across the street in the family. The home is now owned by Roger's son Brian and his wife Cindi Paul.

The property manager, Melody Norton, is a local York Beach resident, a cousin of the owner, and a very experienced property manager.

Why Melody Norton chose York Beach

The house has been in the Paul Family for four generations. Roger's sons intend to keep it in the family for many more years.

What makes this house unique

Large, Victorian style, Maine home will give you the feel of Old New England but with many modern updates.

The house is close to all local York Beach attractions and within walking distance of downtown. A nice sized lawn area located on a side street behind the house is great to have with kids and pets!

This house is Great with all the room!!! The open downstairs floor plan allowed groups to sit apart yet still be able to see others. The pictures do not show how big the rooms really are. The kitchen would be better with more work area when fixing meals but everything we needed was there. The upstairs bedrooms are large with room in 3 of the 4 to put a twin blow up mattress if needed. Old New England charm with dark hard woods and old pine floors. We had an issue with downstairs shower but manager had it fixed quickly. Very friendly and helpful manager lives minutes away. This would have been excellent except we had two 90 degree days making it really hot and hard to sleep. Need AC units for upstairs at least.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your feedback on our home, we appreciate your insight. The owners have installed new window AC units in each of the bedrooms, we know how hot this old home can get in the summer! We hope you can return and sleep better in a cooler room. Thanks again, Melody Norton Property Manager
