About Marisa or Ken Krall

Ken and Marisa Krall are longtime residents of the Boston area, although Marisa is originally from Spain. Having owned and operated a downtown Boston international school for over 25 years, they have housed over a thousand foreign and US guests in several properties.

Marisa or Ken Krall purchased this condo in 2014

Why Marisa or Ken Krall chose Beacon Hill

The Beacon Hill neighborhood has special significance for all long-time Bostonians; it is not unusual to find families that have called its cobblestone streets and Bristish-architecture buildings home since the early 1800s. In a 'young' county like the US, that's really saying something!

The rich fabric of history today manifests itself in the area's unparalleled elegance with cobblestone streets and a myriad of fine dining options within a five-minute walk.

The building itself houses two outstanding restaurants, a Japanese grill and sushi restaurant and a seafood bistro. Other renown dining establishments, such as the Parker House Hotel where the 'Boston cream pie' originated, are but a few minutes' walk.

We love being at the epicenter of the city's business, entertainment, and historical districts!

What makes this condo unique

21 Beacon is a unique address, centrally located and convenient to all Boston points of address. We own several properties in the Boston rental market, as well as maintain residences overseas. The addition of the 21 Beacon St. unit to the portfolio represents a signature urban destination that combines the old world elegance and charm of Beacon Hill with all the conveniences and excitement of modern urban living. Steps from shopping, restaurants, theatres, the Boston Common park, and The Freedom Trail. Looking towards the State House and Boston Common from the rooftop terrace on a warm summer evening made us realize that this property topped others that we had been considering.

We love being at the epicenter of the city's business, entertainment, and historical districts!

Exceptional location and roof deck views

  • 5 of 5

I couldn't have asked for a better place for our long weekend stay in Boston. This is the first time I have stayed in Boston and only taken the T once during the trip. It is centrally located and is very easy to walk to most of the Boston neighborhoods. If you prefer the T it's a short 2-3 walk. The unit itself was very cozy. We comfortably fit with 4 people with both the bed and pullout couch being very comfortable. The building is very quiet and we always felt safe. The view from the roof deck is simply amazing and you can see over the entire city. This was one of the selling points for me when choosing this property. We loved feeling like we were coming in and out of our "home" for the weekend instead of just a room to stay in.

This beautiful condo is right in the middle of everywhere you want to be in Boston. No need for a car! We either walked or took public transportation to all of the fun attractions in this great city! Check out the rooftop garden, the view is amazing!

Excellent Location and Beautiful Condo

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a long weekend in early Fall. The condo is well appointed and was everything that you note in the owners descriptions and images. The bed is super comfortable and the view from the rooftop was picturesque day or night. The condo windows face an internal space and this really decreased any external city noise at night, the building occupants are a mix of young professionals and older adults, so noise from the neighbors was not an issue either . The concierge Rosa was helpful and suggested several good places to eat in the surrounding Beacon Hill/Downtown area. Like most cities there was a Starbucks within a block, the "T" subway station was just down the street at the edge of Boston Common, and very easy to navigate to all the tourist attractions and Fenway. We thoroughly enjoyed running each morning in Boston Common and the "adjoining" Boston Public Gardens, the paths were easy hills, meandering among colorful flower beds and sculptures. Boston is a big city with a small town feel, it is pedestrian friendly, safe and clean. We will definitely return.

Great location perfect for a couple

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is perfect for a couple. The owners have thought of everything with clear instructions. We drove from Boston and found it a short walk from the parking garage they recommended.

The best part is the location. Not having been to Boston before we didn't appreciate the location of the apartment until we arrived. All of the tourist attractions are within walking distance. Sometimes you get lucky, this was one of those times.

Fabulous Accomodatiions and Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

The best experience ever with Homeaway/VRBO property stays. The condo is not only in the best area for visiting downtown Boston but it is beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly want. My wife and I have stayed in several of these rentals over the past 12 years and have never had a poor experience. However this one is at the top of our list. If I could give it 6 stars I would with no reservation. Thanks Marisa.
