Very nice and comfortable apartment right on the ocean.

The apartment is just as described! Very nice and comfortable! We enjoyed it for 2 month, and it was great. Bedroom is big, walk in closet is great, kitchen is large enough.

Pool in the building is big, and area surrounding it is nice and comfortable. Staff at the pool are friendly, as well as all stuff in the building.

We had minor issues at the beginning, but owner quickly fixed it.

The only thing I would like for people with kids to consider, is that apartment is above service area for the Diplomat hotel, which is currently undergoing renovation, and it gets pretty loud starting from 7:30 in the morning till 4-5 pm...

Overall, it was a great stay, and I would come back again!

Lots of issues

Furniture was great and bed was really comfortable. The building is really nice with a great pool right beside a super beach. Unit is located next to the Diplomat Hotel/Conference Center staging area. Semis and delivery trucks come and go all day - begin unloading at 6:45 am and can end after 9 pm. The beeping from the forklifts is annoying and the noise is frustrating. You are four floors above two huge roll-off dumpsters - very noisy. Listing said "fully stocked" kitchen. There was a frig., stove and microwave, toaster that didn't work, no coffee maker. The two skillets are very small - two fried eggs were crowded in the larger of two- and are the original Teflon, very scratched and not really healthy to use. The only sauce pan has food burned on the bottom. Goodwill has better pots and pans! There were no measuring cups, measuring spoons, baking pans, silicone spatula, mixer etc.!. Owner did purchase a small 5 cup coffee maker and a new two slice toaster. He did say we could purchase pots and pans and take them home with us because he would not compensate us. We bought new pots, pans, cookie sheet colander, measuring cups, measuring spoons, cookie sheet and silicone spatula! The ice maker did not work so had to use silicone tiny ice cube trays. The stove needs work, the cooktop really needs a thorough scrubbing. The oven gives an error code so you have to turn it off, let it cool for a few minutes, turn is back on - the error code says it needs a new sensor and probe. The bath tub drain takes 20-30 minutes to drain. The door to the balcony needs a new locking mechanism - sometimes it will open, sometimes you have to play with it. The hair dryer is old and has one speed, very slow - takes forever to dry your hair. Dishwasher has no basket for the silverware! Silverware had food encrusted on it in the drawer and some of the dishes had food dried on in the cupboards. We left on 2/19 for a cruise. Returned 3/5 to discover we had not received our damage deposit. I questioned why and was told he put refund through 2/21, didn't go through but he didn't know it!! He did refund the deposit after I text to him. I'm not sure I would ever have gotten it. Would rent in the building in a heartbeat but never this unit - way too many issues.

Owner's Response: I appreciate taking the time to review, but I would like to address few things you mentioned in your review. ** I would like ALL my guests to feel welcome and enjoy their stay in our apartment, use the great building amenities, pool, and beautiful beach. It is important to me that our guests will feel free to call me with any needs, questions, or requests at any time of the day or night. With that being said, I believe there is a nice and civilized way to do so. ** That was NOT the case with Mr. and Miss H they are very rude and unpleasant individuals ** While their stay I address any issue they had ASAP some even within hours. ** On the 1st day they texted me to let me know that there is no coffee maker (there was an electric cattle that our guests use for instant coffee) and within less than 4 hours there was a new coffee maker waiting for them outside the door. ** On the 2nd day, they sent me a rude text message complaining that the toaster stopped working (It’s a brand new toaster I got just few weeks back, and unfortunately it happened that things get broken) - within 24hr they had a brand new toaster left outside the door. ** On the 3rd day when I got the 3rd rude text message demanding me to provide them a blender and measuring cup since Miss H would like to bake cookies. At this point, I kindly suggest Miss H, that she can buy anything she is missing (i.e. her baking stuff) I also suggested that she should read the description on VRBO site which describes in details what’s in the kitchen. ** For their entire stay the couple never mentioned anything about draining or issue with the oven during their stay, otherwise, I would be more than happy to address this issues. ** As mentioned, I appreciate all feedbacks and we always do our best to improve our guests experience/vacation (the way I expect others to do for my family when we are on vacation). As a result, the kitchen now has a new set of cookware, a new basket for the dishwasher, the building maintenance made sure to clean the bath drainer, and the oven was fixed.

Great Apartment

Very nice apartment. We had to stay for 6 weeks and the room was big enough to accommodate everything we needed. Nice kitchen, huge bedroom, walk in closet and nice bathroom. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a place on the beach.
