Overview

About the property

Panoramic ocean front views, steps to the beach. 1 bedroom w/ Luxury king bed

The Hale Le'a Le'a, which in Hawaiian means the “HOUSE OF GREAT PLEASURE”, resides beach front on the famous shoreline of North Shore Oahu.

Just steps to the beach and you'll be digging your toes in the sand and hopefully see a Honu or two, (our resident Hawaiian green sea turtles), bobbing in the the ocean. Our beach is serene and semi private, but if you prefer we are also close to all the world renowned North Shore beaches, such as Ali'i Beach, Chuns, Lonis, Waiamea Bay, Banzai Pipeline and Sunset beach.

Waialua is a wonderful and very centralized location. Just 2 miles to historic Haleiwa town. There you will find many unique boutique and surf shops. There is a wide array of restaurants, ranging from fresh local seafood, Thai food, Mexican food, “Kua Aina” for burgers and sandwiches, the food trucks that specialize in shrimp plates and don't forget Matsumoto's for a shaved ice.

The activities available are endless, from Scuba dives, deep sea fishing, Shark adventure tours, whale watching (seasonal), or rent surf boards, paddle boards, jet skis, kayaks or snorkel gear.

And a short drive to Dillingham Airport offers skydives, ultra light flight tours and glider rides. Mokuleia Beach, the Polo fields, horseback riding and Kaena Point are also nearby. And don't forget the Dole Pineapple Plantation, Waimea falls, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Turtle Bay.

Easy day trips to Pearl Harbor Memorial, Diamond Head Crater, Waikiki, Makapu'u Lighthouse, and shopping at the swap meet at Aloha Stadium.

And of coarse remember to just relax at Hale Le'a Le'a, the “HOUSE OF GREAT PLEASURE”. Listen to the sound of the surf and the trade winds blowing through the coconut palms with a Mai Tai in hand at sunset.

Inquire if additional guest room needed.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I decided to go to Oahu for a second honeymoon. this was the perfect place to stay, the views were incredible. The owners were out of town during our stay, and Jeanne was So helpful in giving us ideas of where to do the best snorkeling and hikes. We would not have changed a single thing about this stay it was Perfect.

Wailua Chillin!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had an awesome time at this property! The location is as chill as you would want.....most days we had the beach all to ourselves. The snorkeling was first class and fish, turtles, and rays were plentiful. The surf had no undertow at all, making it a safe experience for all.

The view from our second story balcony was breathtaking, and those sunsets.........wow!

The unit it self was very well equipped with condiments and plenty of beach gear provided. Unit is dated and could use some TLC. My wife and I highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again. Thank you Dennis and Joann for making our Hawaiian vacation romantic and unforgettable. Mahalo!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful!!!

  • 5 of 5

Cons: bathroom needs some updating, air conditioning needs to be fixed, the bed is soft and no shades on the windows. Pros: location, location, location. Wonderful place. Quiet and very peaceful. Had the beach to ourselves. The view is just breathtaking. Loved the small historic town. Everyone was friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Idyllic home on quiet beach

  • 5 of 5

Looking for a relaxing beach getaway? Want to feel like you're on your own private beach? Want to see turtles swimming without even getting out of bed? Then this is the rental for you! This was our 3rd stay here and certainly won't be our last. The listing really can't capture how relaxing it is to stay here. This unit is the whole second floor of the home and is right on the beach. Down the stairs, across 20 feet of lawn and you are on a beautiful beach. Most days we had at least a couple of hours where we were the only ones on the beach. It gets a little busier on the weekend, but that means 20 people spread out along the quarter-mile stretch you can see, not the craziness of Waikiki Beach.

The house is well equipped with a full kitchen a large living room, and huge bedroom with awesome floor to ceiling windows with ocean views and a large master bath with a shower and a jacuzzi tub. You're 5 minutes away from the fun little town on Hale'iwa, and 10 minutes away from Laniakea Beach ("Turtle Beach" where turtles come up and bask on the sand nearly every day in the summer). You're about 45 minutes from the airport and an hour from Waikiki, but why would you want to go there when paradise surrounds you here?

JoAnn is a great host (she handles check in/out and cleaning and other needs that come up) and Dennis (the owner) is quick to respond to questions. If you're looking for a true Hawaiian experience and a relaxing vacation, look no further!
