A two bedroom holiday home in the village of Fernhurst, West Sussex.
Enjoying a rural village location, below Blackdown, the highest point in the South Downs, Oak Grove is a semi detached holiday cottage able to sleep up to 5 guests. Downstairs is the living room which has doors to the garden. The well equipped kitchen is open plan to the dining room, and there is also a study downstairs which has a roll out single bed. A bathroom with WC, basin and walk in shower is also on the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms - the principal has a super king sized bed which can be configured to twin beds. The second bedroom has a single bed, and additional trundle single bed. The family bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Outside, the garden is a wonderfully relaxing area with oak trees surrounding the fence. A summer house in the garden has a full size table tennis table for guest use during the summer months.
A charge of £25.00 per week (or part there of) will be made for each dog (guide dogs for the blind and registered assistance dogs excepted). Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog with you. This property will accept a maximum of one dog.
Close to the Surrey and Hampshire borders, Fernhurst is a West Sussex village within the South Downs National Park.
Around 3 miles from Oak Grove is Haslemere, a quaint and charming market town steeped in history. Enjoy the the beautiful parks, gardens, and historic houses, or immerse yourself in culture at the many places of historical interest. A little further is Petworth, a picturesque market town full of traditional and historic buildings. It has many antique shops, small individual shops and tea rooms. The town is most famous for Petworth House and Park which, with its wall, forms a major part of the town. The Park is very extensive and offers great views of both the house and the South Downs. To the west is Cowdray, famous for its polo. The pretty small town of Midhurst is next to the Cowdray Estate. Head south from there to Singleton and Goodwood.
