You have a MILLION DOLLAR UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW of not only the ocean, but also the neighboring islands of Kaho’olawe, Molokini and Lana’i AND sunsets every night from the lanai or pool deck with other guests who congregate for happy hour.
Approximately 630 square feet, this unit is ideally suited for 2 people, there is a queen sofa bed in the living room for a 3rd person. The unit was purchased in 2013 and immediately received some freshening up and a full remodel in 2015:

Situated in the south western central part of the Valley Isle, this location has the least rainfall of anywhere on Maui. Did we say “location is everything”, connected to Cove Park north end, is Kalama Park, a large ocean front park (about 4 blocks long) that has expansive grass areas, BBQ’s, playground, roller skating rink, skate park, tennis courts and much more. Within 2 blocks you can take surf board or paddle board lessons, shop at Foodland or an outdoor market for souvenirs, and you are a quick stroll to over 8 restaurants in the area. So, park your car and enjoy everything a vacation should be at your fingertips. Turn south instead, and you are within walking distance of Charlie Young Beach, and the start of the Kamaole Beaches, more restaurants and more shopping.

Our first visit to Maui was 1997, and we have returned every year since - sometimes twice a year. The Shores of Maui is truly our home away from home. We love Maui.

The Shores of Maui is the ONLY property we were interested in when we bought. It is the community that we bought into and the aloha spirit that exists in this small, 50 unit complex.
When you sit on the lanai, and overlook the ocean - you can't help but be mesmerized by the sound of the surf, and at peace with the view as you look west towards the sunsets. We never tire of this view, and the surf is continual - 24/7.
We were extremely pleased with Unit 121 which was comfortably decorated, well equipped, and
located to give beautiful sunset views from the lanai. We also enjoyed the tennis court, barbecue facilities, pool area and the friendliness/helpfulness of the residents and other guests. The location in Kihei is very central and convenient with beaches, stores, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. We've already booked for next year!
This is our second stay at the Shores of Maui Condo complex and the first time we stayed at Diane and Ron's beautifully renovated first floor condo (we styed for 11 days). The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and the overall accommodations were excellent including plenty of towels and full array of beach supplies. The first floor lanai provides great sunsets every night and easy access to the wonderful pool and brand new grills. The condo's location in Kihei guarantees dry weather and a convenient location to good restaurants, great beaches for swimming and snorkeling, a County park, and golf courses. The owners were helpful and enjoyable to work with. We highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in an awesome Maui vacation.
Rod and Diane's unit is in a convenient location within walking distance of the best of Kihei for amazing breakfasts and lovely views. You can park at the door and be just a few steps from the pool, tennis courts and barbecues. The condo has everything necessary to cook great meals. It is very comfortable and REALLY nicely decorated. Also, beautiful Wailea beach is just a couple of minutes south. After each day of exploring Maui, we appreciated coming "home" to Unit 121. Thanks for sharing this special place!
We stayed at the condo for a week in April. Diane responded quickly and was able to accommodate us last minute. The condo was perfect - super clean, updated and really nicely furnished. The location is fantastic - walking distance to numerous restaurants, stores and beaches. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay here again.
This condo was exceptionally well put together. There was ever thing that you needed and then some. The owners very were conscientious and you tell they put a great deal of thought in to making it as comfortable and pleasant for the renters as they could. Their standards were well above the normal average. The condo was immaculately cleaned and very well equipped. You most definitely could see the pride in ownership with Rod & Diane. We very much appreciated the bottle of wine with the welcome card. The Shores of Maui is built so every suite has a view of the water. They have a pool with lounge chairs and a fair sized eating area with ample seating. On Thursdays everyone was invited to go down to the pool area at 5:00 and share appetizers. There are 3 BBQ 's for everybody's use around the pool area. The Shores of Maui have clients that come back year after year. It has a friendly group of people who are socially interactive. We spent more than a few nights barbecuing and sharing
meals with people that we met who either lived there or were visiting there. We look forward to going there again.
We've been coming to Maui for 15 years now and this is our favourite place we've ever stayed. This unit is exceptional -- it's beautifully furnished, newly renovated, especially well equipped and in the most perfect location. Shores of Maui is a friendly community and a lot more fun to stay at than an anonymous hotel. It's across the street from the ocean with beautiful views of the setting sun every night. The suite is home-away-from-home with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, luxurious king bed, walk-in shower, WiFi, TV and lots of toys for playing at the beach. It couldn't get any better. We stayed for a month and the time went by in the blink of an eye, can't wait to go back.
