This 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home and is approximately 2,000 square feet on a quiet circle in Meadow village. Upstairs: Two bedrooms: One sleeps 6 like a dormitory, the other sleeps 3 with one twin and a queen. Half bath. Downstairs 2 bedrooms each with queen bed. 2 full baths. Utility room. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room plus extra bar seating. Conversation pit with TV and fireplace. Family room closes off with it's own TV and fireplace. Open entry walk in closet for skis, coats, boots, etc off entry. Utility room. Wood Room. gas barbecue on back deck with hot tub. This home is on the bike path but not so close it is annoying. It is a great home and we have been renting for almost 30 years! This home is filled with my artwork and there are many renters over the years that have enjoyed our home albeit we are new to VRBO.

About Kay Driver

My husband and I are both native Oregonians and we have enjoyed renting our home in Sunriver for many years. We have a large family (8 kids between us) and can attest for how much fun we have had over the years staying at #2 Trapper Lane ourselves. We both grew up in Southern Oregon and currently live there. I am an artist and my paintings are everywhere at this home! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions!!!

Kay Driver purchased this house in 1978

Why Kay Driver chose Central Oregon

Sunriver is and always has been a great destination for many reasons. The golfing and tennis are amazing! The bike paths alone go forever and when you ride along the Deschutes River it is pure beauty. I love Bend (we have family there) and the restaurants are great! We enjoy vacationing away from the city of Bend but love to visit for restaurants, art and shopping. Mt. Bachelor is a mountain that has runs for everyone and all our kids learned to ski and snowboard there. I love the drive from Sunriver to the mountain! I can't think of a nicer place to visit in Oregon than Central Oregon!

What makes this house unique

This house is just amazing for families. The wrought iron staircase is fun for all ages. It is a comfortable home and when you have a large or even a small group you seriously are relaxed. Having the bike path nearby...fun to watch and great access. It is not too close but it is fun to watch everyone ride by from the back deck. You are close but not so far away that you cannot hop on your bike and be on it in moments. The Trapper Lane circle is great for bike riding for kids. Safe. No through traffic. We have had many of our kids learn to ride their bikes on this circle.

Nice, warm, clean, and lots of room.

  • 5 of 5

Great place for our get together. Lots of room and well maintained. We needed a large place for locals and out of staters to get together for a wedding shower and bachelorette. It was perfect. There was a huge and unexpected drop of snow before we arrived and the owner was very helpful in getting the driveway plowed and such. Great time!

Pet friendly home with lots of beds and a great fireplace within walking distance to the village.

  • 4 of 5

2 Trapper lane was a pet friendly home that satisfied the requirements for our family. With its 4 bedrooms and 10 beds we had room for everyone. It was easy to locate and was within walking distance to the village. Service from the owner was great and the ability to talk with their handyman was very much appreciated. We really enjoyed the wood fireplace and the ample wood pile. There were lots of games, books, and movies available. We enjoyed our stay.

Great for a large family!

  • 4 of 5

We have stayed in this home several times - starting in the 1970s. It is great for a large family, including pets. Bunk room is perfect for kids, the separate living and family rooms allow for separate activities. This home is older, and the kitchen is small, but well appointed. Good location, on a quiet loop, but close to the Village. Casual decor, don't have to worry about damaging the artwork, etc. Communications with owner are very good.

No TV in the bedrooms - one in the master bedroom would have been nice. Lots of towels and blankets, clean, lots of seating in the living and family rooms. Well stocked with wood for the 2 fireplaces. Large area for skis, boots, etc. by the family room outside door. Just right for our big family reunion covering ages 1 through 73!

We had a really great time staying at this comfortable and roomy home!! It was perfect for our young kids to play while we visited. We shared a lot of great memories. Thank you for lending your great home to us so that we could enjoy a fun weekend in sunriver.

Our family of ten found this home totally comfortable. So did our dogs. We have four teens/tweens who liked sharing the room they could all sleep in. The two gathering areas offer choices, and each would be especially cozy with a fire in the fireplace, but the weather refused to be cold enough! The kitchen is well stocked, the dining table seats eight, with stools for the nearby counter. The location is good for biking to the village and SHARC and to the river facilities and the observatory and nature center. The home was very clean.
