Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. We were looking for something on a stream that was somewhat quiet/secluded away from busy touristy centers. The cabin is cute, well laid out, and clean. It was warmer than usual when we were there, so our young kids (7 and 5) really enjoyed playing in the creek behind the house where they caught numerous small crawdads. We caught one small rainbow trout with a regular fishing rod and lure. We didn't have fly fishing gear, but I doubt that many really big fish would be in this size creek. The front and back porch is really relaxing hearing the creek, and the hot tub was fun in the evening. The kitchen is stocked with basic cookware and a few seasonings. There are other houses nearby and across the creek, but the neighbors were all really quiet and we still felt like we had our own personal space. The house is further back off the main road so there's not really any traffic passing by at all. My only complaint would be that the beds were a little uncomfortable (at least downstairs) as they made our backs hurt and wake up often. Oh, and the Carver's Orchard and Applehouse Restaurant just up the main road was awesome. We wanted to eat there but it was super busy the times we tried (but it was peak tourist season being mid October). We did go to their big market and bought some nice fruits, vegetables, honey, and freshly made apple pies. Another fun thing in the area to do with kids is go on a llama trek with Smoky Mountain Llama Treks! Forbidden Caverns isn't too far a drive away either.
I brought my 3 children and both of my parents. It was perfect for all of us. There was plenty of room for the kids to run around, hike nearby roadways, play in the creek, throw the football, etc. The grandparents enjoyed listening to the creek water run by and watching beautiful song birds (bring your binoculars). The hot tub was large enough for all of us to relax in and the front porch swing was my favorite spot to relax. The kids looked forward to visiting the neighbors horses every morning when they came out to graze and drink from creek.
We were close enough to visit Gatlinburg a couple of times but we enjoyed our privacy more often. There were great antique, ice cream stores and a few out of the way restaurants. Grilling out and making simple meals saved us from eating out everyday which gets old (and expensive).
The cabin had everything we needed from wifi to bird feeders. We appreciated how very clean it was as well. And all the bear themed items made it cute. We couldn't "bear" to leave and pray we will be back soon.
Thank you Creekview Estates for a great vacation!!!

First I would like to say THANK YOU for sharing the BEAUTIFUL cabin with our family. The cabin is a must if staying in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area it took less then 20 minutes to get to either place. The cabin itself setting on the creek was so nice and plenty of yard area to get out in. Not like other cabins setting on top of each other. The cabin also was very nice inside and had everything we needed and more. We are planning another trip see ya in the fall.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, right on the creek and very quiet. I only have one issue with this cabin... We have stayed at cabins throughout the smokies and this the first that said you will be charged if you don't run the dishes in the dishwasher and put them back up in the cabinets when you leave. This can be an issue on check out day. It kind of forces you to get up early for your breakfast so you can get everything loaded in the dishwasher, run a cycle, wait until done and put everything away. As you know, it's a pretty long time start to finish. We got up, ate and loaded the dishwasher and still had to pull them out after the wash to dry them by hand and put them away. Otherwise we wouldn't have been out by 10:00. We wondered if some renters might just opt to wash off the dishes and put them in the cabinets to save the trouble since a few of the dishes had some food stuck to them. I would rather know that the cleaning person ran the load, did it right and put them away. Also, if you fill the trash can outside, the sheet on the fridge asks you to take it to the garbage center somewhere down the road. I've never seen this before either. It seems like a lot to ask after paying a high cleaning fee.
We loved playing in the creek. The cabin was really nice too. The rooms were comfortable and the front porch is awesome. We played in the hot tub, the creek and then watched basketball on the nice TVs in the evenings. We never once thought about going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Our kids still won't shut up about how much they loved the cabin.
