There were 13 of us, including teens and college students and adults. The kids found the bunk room (2 double bunks, able to sleep 8) a little warm, even with the ceiling fan on, and disappointed that there was no DVD player. But they survived. The downstairs bedrooms, 1 king bedroom was small, with a flat screen TV, however, the other a queen bedroom had no TV and was a little tight also. The downstairs bathroom was too small to accommodate the number of people (11) sleeping downstairs, of course, the upstairs bathroom was shared. The master upstairs was spacious and really well decorated, with a balcony looking toward the beach. The room was large enough to be used as the bunk room, media room. The living room/dining room were not roomy, but that was no big deal, the deck off of the living room looked toward the beach with some view of the water. The kitchen was nice, frig a little small, and there was no pantry, but for the time we were there, we made things work. It is just a short walk to the beach, which was great for morning walks with coffee and watching the sunrise. Really, we had a great time, the house was clean and supplied well. There are two or three things that need to be addressed. With the garbage pick-up once a week, there needs to be another city trash container. Evidently there were renters before us since one of the city trash containers was absolutely full when we got there, and with 13 people over the Thanksgiving holiday, we quickly filled up the other container, hoping we could close the lid. A TV in the queen bedroom room downstairs would be nice, and this is picky, but there needs to be more kitchen linens, there was only one pot holder, and two dish towels, like I said that is picky, however, I must say, there are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils and glassware. There is a washer/dryer downstairs, which was nice to have. With all that being said, we enjoyed the house. It was a great family get-together, the kids, had a great time as did the adults.
Great location, a short walk to the private beach. Clean bathrooms, large kitchen with plenty of space to cook and store food. Just a little short of being roomy enough for our 16 guests. The living room/dining area was all in one cramped room, and not really big enough to pull out the couch without moving the 2 living room chairs/coffee table to another room. It looked much larger in the pictures. Another downside that we found was that the outdoor lights and electrical outlets were limited. The upstairs master suite was beautiful and huge. Wifi & TV service was great.
