About Simona Longari
My name is Simona and I am 53 years old, I have been doing this job for 6; before I managed other commercial activities and I also worked in Tanzania for a year, where my aunt has a resort. In life, I like to meet new people and realize myself in my work, which I consider not only a means of gain but an opportunity to grow. My hobbies are: music, reading and long walks in the center. The girl with glasses in the picture is my daughter, who is also my co-host. If you come to visit us you will find her to welcome you at the check in. We are waiting for you!
Why Simona Longari chose Municipio I
I wanted to put this fantastic location at the disposal of all those who want to know my city close by, always being able to count on maximum comfort.
What makes this Apartment unique
I fell in love with the quiet atmosphere that pervades the courtyard, the warm colors of the buildings and the smell of domestic intimacy that you breathe as soon as you cross the threshold of the gate. I even thought that I wanted to move there myself. The guardian is always attentive to security and order, the families who live there are discreet and the traffic of the small town library, located in the middle of the inner courtyard, is pleasant. It seemed the perfect place for a stay in Rome, far from the chaos of the center but a stone's throw from San Pietro and the subway.

Cute apartment, great location
We liked the neighborhood spot. Very quiet and authentic. Got the bonus of church bells every morning too. This apartment was big and spacious and everything worked great. Mara, our contact, was so nice to switch our apartments when we asked for a 2 bedroom and she was very easy to contact throughout the trip. I would definitely stay there again. It’s walking distance to the Vatican, but all other main sites you need a taxi or bus/train for. All in all it was great!
Excellent. Lovely, convenient, clean apartment.
We stayed with our two teenage children in May and had a wonderful trip. The apartment was perfect with a bedroom for us and a large, comfortable pull out sofa bed for the girls. It was great to stay in a character property looking over the church opposite and hearing the bells every day. The apartment had everything you needed and is placed conveniently for the Vatican. It is about 10 minutes from the nearest metro Ottoviano which will get you to Termini in 6 stops.
Michela was a fantastic host and there to meet us when we arrived. She gave us lots of suggestions and was very helpful letting us check out later on the last day.
Far too much to see in Rome in a year let alone 4 days and it gets very hot so prepare to walk, a lot. We escaped to Santa Marinella one day for a beach break which we highly recommend. The market near the apartment is really interesting and great for buying food. We found a lovely Italian restaurant that did a two course lunch for 10 Euros with coffee, Osteria da Checco ar 65. You also have to go to this little bakery just along from the Metro. It’s underground and never closes! Cornetteria Dolce Maniera.
The area offers all the basic services: pharmacy, supermarket, covered market, bars, restaurants, laundries, minimarkets, banks, post office ... The main attractions of the city start less than one km away!
