This is a completely renovated, high quality condo located in one of New Orleans most popular locations. Located just steps from popular magazine street shopping, restaurants and watering holes. The condo complex was designed by famous Local Architect John Hopkins and features only 5 units total. This unit is located within the courtyard of the property and occupies the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. There is one unit below our unit, the other three units are located in a separate building connected by a charming balcony. The unit has been completely renovated with new wood floors, custom architectural details such as wood beams, custom wood wall, and top of the line kitchen and bathrooms. It is both private and highly accessible to areas such as the French Quarter, Audubon Park and The CBD. It is furnished with upscale furnishings and linens and features a fully equipped kitchen. There are 5 queen beds and two twin beds. There is also indoor laundry, wifi and a printer for your use. The unit has one reserved parking space and another space that is available for guest parking. There is also a park with playground in the next block.

Why Colleen Loria chose Uptown-Carrollton

This property is located in a great neighborhood convenient to all of the things that people visiting New Orleans want to do. Its just steps from Magazine street shopping, a quick 5-10 minute ride to the French Quarter, Audubon Park, Audubon Zoo and about a 5-6 block walk to the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar. It is situated steps away from a nearvy park and playground and is right across the street from St. Stephen's Church. It is a perfectlly central Uptown Location in walking distance to many attractions but also a short ride to others.

What makes this townhome unique

The property is quite large for a condo and feels more like a home. It has parking, outdoor space for entertaining and a back patio for barbecuing.

My guest Jayonna S. checked in on 9/27 and immedately called me and texted me to complain that there were "bed bugs" and that the place wasn't clean.

My maids do a very thorough job and I am very particlular so I was very surprised. I sent the maids over right away to change linens and clean any areas needing it. There was no bug on the bed when they arrived. Upon her departure, Jayonna called me incessantly (I was at a football game) and texted me asking me to call her. When we spoke she then complained about finding a large bug in the sink and also finding lipstick on a wine glass. She then asked if she would have to pay the cleaning fee, saying "I would hate to have to give a negative review". I asked her to send me photos of bug she found. When I recieved the photo, I asked my assistant to research the bug to find out what it was. At this time, Jayonna sked me to refund her deposit to a different credit card than the one used to reserve the property stating she had "lost the card on the trip". I told her that the deposit had likely already been refunded to the original card which I have it set up automatically to do. It was then my assitant, called me to her computer. The photo of the bug was a photo from the internet. Jayonna had clearly lied about the bug and obvioulsy lied about the other issues just to demand a refund. At this point, I have refunded the entire amount of Jayonna's deposit to the original card but have NOT yet told her of my discovery. I could have deducted the additional cost of the cleaning but did not. I am posting this in the event Jayonna posts a negative review as she threatened to do. She is a scam artist.

Beautiful and spacious with the perfect location!

This was perfect for our group of 12. We had ages 4 to 65 and everyone was very happy.

At the front door is a bin with all the beads and parade goodies that kept the youngest and oldest occupied for a long time. The location was wonderful. Just a few blocks either way to Magazine St or St Charles and the street car made getting around easy. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. We walked to nearby restaurants and the kids played at a park that was just a block a way to burn off some pre/post dinner energy.

Our sleeping arrangements were great. The kids took over the media room and the rest of us had our own rooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathrooms were very nice and very clean. The towels were provided and were towels like you would have at home. Not hotel towels.

The kitchen had sustained some damage from previous tenants so the freezer was not able to be used. That said the owner contacted me ahead of time and got a cooler for ice and made sure we were all set. That speaks volumes to the care that is placed on making sure our needs were met. We had a grill and enjoyed grilled oysters. My local friends came over and put on a shrimp and crab boil with plenty of room in the kitchen for 3 people shelling oysters.

When it was time to leave everyone was asking when we were coming back to do it again.

Vacation success. I would rent this property again and again!

Pictures do not do it justice for this place. Perfect location, no need to fight for parking and beautiful home. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely amazing.

Beautiful home

We had an amazing wedding weekend. The house was beautiful and we were well taken care of. The neighborhood feels safe and there are great places to eat just a short walk to Magazine Street. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a beautiful place to stay while in the city. I would definitely stay here again.
