Kathy purchased this Condo in 2007
Why Kathy chose Connecticut Ave/ K Street
This was brand new construction in 2007. The location is incredible. The original site was the first British Embassy in the United States. I am the original owner. I lived there myself for a number of years, and still use it when I'm not sharing it (via VRBO) with others. Also I've had my children stay there when they want to visit the city.
What makes this Condo unique
Being able to walk across the street to the Palm restaurant and catch a show at the Improv comedy club.

And they're all excellent!
Beautiful flat in a great location
The flat was clean and beautifully maintained. The owner was responsive and helpful when we had a few glitches with the air conditioning. The rest of the building is also lovely and clean and, had we used it, there was parking across the street. We loved the neighborhood and, to say we were so close to Connecticut, the unit was very quiet.
Beautiful and relaxing!
The location was great, Kathy was available if we needed her for anything! The place was very nice and homey which worked for all of us! Thank you Kathy! We will be back😀
It was perfect, close to everything, good car park, lovely home and furnishings, excellent A/C
Kathy's home was just what we needed for our stay in Dupont Circle. The linens were first class, and all the amenities were lovely. There were all the TV channels, including the Tennis Channel, which I love. We grilled on the BBQ on the rooftop deck, and enjoyed the view from there every night. Overall, there was nothing not just right. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Great apartment, great location
We were in DC for a 3-month stay and wanted to live near Dupont Circle. This apartment was perfect for us! The one-bedroom unit is bright, spacious, attractive and comfortable. The layout is great. The washer-dryer made doing laundry a breeze. The building is secure. There's a new printer that was easy to set up on wifi, and great TV (with premium channels) in the living room and bedroom. And while we walked almost everywhere, having a parking space in an underground garage across the street was a terrific convenience. The only thing that wasn't perfect is that trucks go through the alley below in the early morning. (If you're an early riser it won't bother you — we we got used to it.)
Kathy was responsive and helpful whenever we had a question.
The Sunday morning farmer's market at Dupont Circle was a weekly stop for us, and we found the Whole Foods at P and 15th to be a good spot for grocery shopping. The Metro is very close by, and we took the bus to Georgetown on occasion (it leaves from a stop a block away). The area was great to explore, with more restaurants per block than I've seen anywhere! We found many favorites. And, the museums in the city are fantastic to explore. The Phillips Collection is a 7-minute walk, and we went there often (to see art, to eat in the cafe, and to browse the shop).
If we have another opportunity to spend time in DC we'd be happy to rent there again.
