Good location, but house is dated.

  • 3 of 5

As other reviews mentioned, the interior of the house is quite dated (early 90's), and the stereo system and wifi are antiquated (we couldn't get the outside speakers to work while we were there, and the property manager was not helpful when we asked how to get them to work). With that said, the property itself is great, with a huge yard and dock, and Dewittville is a good location on Chautauqua Lake.

Great summer estate even in the winter.

  • 4 of 5

We had plans to visit this Chautauqua area for snowmobiling and rented this gorgeous estate. Unfortunately there was not enough snow that had fallen for the trails to be open but the weekend was still great thanks to the friendly staff and amazing estate we got to stay in. The estate is aging a bit and has some older features such as the surround sound and wifi but overall a fun place to stay. The jacuzzi was not working because of the winter time but we still had a blast. Staff was very responsive to questions and were available to help with anything we needed. Would love to visit Cobb's Landing in the summer to take advantage of the jacuzzi and lake fun!

Such a beautiful home and area during the winter, can only imagine the beauty of summer.

  • 5 of 5

So fun and spacious to be able to spend an early Christmas time with family in the area. We loved having a bathroom with every bedroom to give space for all our family members. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen making some family favorites...always interesting do those types of things in a different kitchen but it all worked well to make our memories.

A Great Lake Place

  • 4 of 5

The home was nice and very clean but a little worn and outdated. The kitchen was awesome and huge. The dock area was worn but safe. The landscaping was well taken care of. The weed level in the lake made it undesirable to swim off the dock.

Wonderful Week at Cobbs Landing!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Cobbs Landing for a week and had a wonderful family vacation. Our group was 16 (4 children and 12 adults), and the house and property exceeded everyone's expectations. Each family had a bedroom with private bath, which is a rare find in the Chautauqua area. We have several people who enjoy cooking and they used all of the modern amenities that the expansive kitchen had to offer. We got the most use out of the pizza oven!

Joann and Charlie were there to answer all of our questions and Joann even left fresh fruit and flowers for us which was a great touch. We also got quite a bit of use out of the pool table and hot tub.

The yard is postcard beautiful and meticulously maintained. There is a large grassy area between the house and lake where we played several games. The weather was perfect so we were able to have a fire in the fire pit every night. The dock has a large area at the end so several people were able to fish comfortably from there.

We've rented various houses around Chautauqua Lake over the years and this was by far our best choice. We've already reserved a week for next year!
