About Dalton Lis
Originally from CT, the outdoors always called to me. My first passion is racing dirt bikes, which naturally includes mountain biking and other endurance building outdoor exercise. As a young ski novice I road tripped to Killington as often as I could, which eventually led me into buying this property in 2006. When the work day was done I could decompress on the mountains albeit hiking, biking, running, skiing, or in the summer cooling off in the lake just up the road which, I can attest to, has healing powers.
Dalton Lis purchased this House in 2006
Why Dalton Lis chose Bridgewater
This property offers you clean moderate space while providing a nostalgic cozy feel. After the devastation of Hurricane Irene, faced with a choice and of course choosing the hard one, we forged ahead bit by bit restructuring, rebuilding, refinishing until the completion of The Boar's Nest.

Great cozy house that’s close to a lot
This place was great. A group of friends and I stayed up here for the 2018 Killington World Cup and it couldn’t have been better. There was 8 of all together and still had plenty of room for everyone.
The amenities are good, full kitchen with pots, pans, etc.
It's near by a lot of places too. Killington itself and all the restaurants, stores, etc were only about 15 minutes away with places like Woodstock being 30ish minutes away.
I would definitely stay here again if given the chance, perfect for a long weekend get away
Beautiful and charming house
Had a great weekend away at this amazing house. Will definitely recommend to others and planning on another vacation here.
So Much Fun!
We had a great time in Vermont! The Boars Head is not elegant but it is warm, welcoming, convenient and perfect for families as well as gangs of skiers. Checking in and out was a breeze (always a plus). There is a porch on the second floor where the view of the night sky is as beautiful as Tucson! The kitchen has a large wooden counter where you can seat many folks for a meal. All the appliances work perfectly. It is particularly convenient to Killington and easy ride to Woodstock. Our only issue is particular to our family. We are TALL and some of the showers were short. We would certainly stay there again.
Great stay for large group!
Had such a great weekend! Great location near ski mountains and Long Trail brewery. Plenty of room and beds for a large group. DJ was very responsive and helpful, already looking forward to next year's trip at the boars nest!
Great spacious country house
Family of 7 adults and 2 teens up for a ski weekend. Lots of room in the large kitchen or large living room for movie watching or family game night. Great set-up with a bath downstairs for those 2 bedrooms, a bath upstairs for those 2 bedrooms, and another bath for the "in-law apartment", which is accessible from either inside or outside. Kitchen well equipped for preparing meals. On a main street, but very quiet, hardly noticed the traffic. Close to 3 major ski areas, Killington, Pico, and Okemo. Lots of other activities in area, antiquing, shopping, and hiking. Quechee isn't too far away, either. Highly recommend and will definitely revisit.
Another great stay at the Boar's Nest!
We stayed at the Boar's Nest for the 2nd year in a row for our family trip to Killington and couldn't have been happier with our stay. We only had 6 people but commented that when we come back in years to come we will be able to bring our kids because there is so much space! We love the wood burning stove, heated floors, and great space to hang out and play games.
DJ made some nice updates to the kitchen this year which opened the room up even more. He was also very accessible when we had questions.
The Boar's Nest is about 5 minutes from Skyeship Base but we opted to park at Ramshead which is about 10-15 minutes away. Either way it was very convenient. We also did a trip to Long Trail Brewery which was just down the road.
We can't wait to come back next year!
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again next season.
Great year round location with outdoor adventure and activities for all seasons.
