About Michael & Jackie Le Roy
We have been exploring this area for over 20 years. We liked it so much, we bought Larch-lodge as a bolt-hole to escape city life. It has everything you would need for a peaceful relaxing break yet close enough to civilisation for those retail needs. The best of both worlds. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Michael & Jackie Le Roy purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Michael & Jackie Le Roy chose Dumfries
If you enjoy nature & the great outdoors, this is the place for you. There is nothing better than, sitting on the south-facing deck, soaking up the sun & looking out over fields.

Really quiet location, with lovely views of fields and forest
Good value for money, with everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Brilliant lodge and location
This was one of the best lodges we have stayed at. Lovely location and very quiet. Everything you might need was provided. We had a great stay.
When approaching from Beeswing I found it best to indicate at the little white cottage on the left, from the other direction it's easier to see the entrance in the clump of trees.
Great little place
Really enjoyed our stay here, very well equipped accomodation, great location for touring the area, would definately come back.
Beautiful and peaceful
Wonderful views every morning and whilst you ate. A seat in the sun on decking overlooking a field of calves and lambs playing, birds visiting the feeders, a young grouse running in the garden. The Mabie forest in the background dividing earth from sky. Loved it.
