About Jon Mueller
My grandfather purchased the camp in 1947. My father and mother bought it from him in the 1960s and ran a boys summer camp there for several years (Ongowanda Lodge). I've been spending summers there since I was born. My two sons learned to swim here.

Lakefront house with kayaks and canoes! Great place to spend quality time with friends and family.
Thanks, Shreyas! We are glad you enjoyed your weekend.
Best regards, Jon
A Wonderful Weekend!
The camp was a great escape into the yester-years of classic Adirondack camps. A beautiful location! Everything was as listed. Since it's an older camp, anyone with mobility difficulties should know that all bathrooms require climbing stairs. We would definitely stay there again!
Rustic historical Adirondack experience
This place enbodies the true character of the Adirondacks. Feels like you’ve walked into a family legacy. Lake was sweet the loons were incredible and we loved feeling the history of this place. Hope to come back again next year thank you so much for sharing your beautifull place
Thank you, Mary, for your kind words. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and that you were able to experience what our family has enjoyed for the last 70 years. We'd love to have you back!
Don't Change A Thing!
This was our third year, and we just love the place, from the porch to the fire pit. Had our first sit-down dinner in the dining room this year and had a great time. Usually it's every man for himself at the grill. Next year we are going to build some new benches for the fire pit. Let the countdown begin. MH
Thanks, Mark. Very happy that you all enjoy the camp enough to keep coming back. We promise not to change too much!
Neat old camp, very large and very comfortable.
Neat old camp, very large and very comfortable. Everybody slept great. Loons were out in front of the dock and the swimming was nice. The AUG week we were there water depth off the end of the dock was about 5 feet, but deeper water was just a few strokes away. Read the welcome book when you arrive as it contains useful information including garbage pickup as well as info about the camp and surrounding area. Check ahead with the owner regarding docking and use of the sunfish. We brought our own sailboat but the sunfish did not appear to have all necessary parts and the boathouse garage was in use.
There is a new yoga facility in Caroga Lake at the fork in the road from RT 10 and London Bridge Road.
