heavenly beautiful and so private, quiet

  • 5 of 5

Spent a week here and was so relaxed and felt totally taken care of even though I didn't see the owners very much. They placed home grown fruits on the porch almost every day! Fully equiped with all you need. Also the shy geckos were amazing! We enjoyed the short walk to the town of Koloa but also visited all the main attractions available on the Island by car. Nepali coast, Poipu beach, a beer brewery, several water falls. So gorgeous and restful. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!!!

Perfect place to stay in Kauai

  • 5 of 5

A month at Hale Kipa made us feel what it must be like to live in Kauai and less like a tourist. The pastoral landscape seen from the lanai is breathtaking and the cottage is spacious and charming. Our first impression was this is so much more than we expected. We knew the minute we saw Hale Kipa this was the perfect place to stay in Kauai.

The little town of Koloa is with in walking distance and has restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores and shops and the beach is only a five minute drive. We explored the entire island from this ideal location.

The owners, Willi and Toni are welcoming and wonderful to work with. We appreciated the special touches like flowers in the house and fruits shared from their yard. You'll feel the spirit of Aloha at Hale Kipa.

Another amazing stay!

  • 5 of 5

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this wonderful cottage. The house is set up with everything one needs and is very comfortable and inviting. We spent most of our time out on the screened lanai, enjoying the views of the country side and hills. The lanai is the perfect size, with enough room for a large dining table, as well as several comfortable chairs. It feels very peaceful and relaxing, but it is only minutes from the restaurants of Koloa and Poipu, and the beach. Mahalo for sharing your cottage. We look forward to hopefully staying here again!

Tranquility at it's best

  • 5 of 5

Just spent the most relaxing two weeks at this cottage ... everything you need for comfort is there and it's such a cosy place. The weather was not good but having this home base to relax in made the holiday just fine. Great owners to deal with, lovely quiet setting, horses next door, birds singing all the time and away from traffic and crowds. Centrally located and spacious, bright and homey, flowers all around you ... a great place for peace and quiet, and catching up with yourself.

A Great Place to Stay!

  • 5 of 5

If you are not the resort type, this cottage is a great place to stay. We were close to Koloa, the beaches, and had a wonderful view of the mountains. We stayed for a week and the cottage provided us with a great location to explore the Island. It was our home base while we explored the Na Pali Coast, hiked in the mountainous region of the Island, and snorkeled at several wonderful beaches. Willi and Tony are wonderful hosts, and they have beautiful flora throughout their property. They are knowledgeable of the botanical wonders, and Kauai's history. My wife and I will surely be telling family and friends about our stay on Kauai, and we look forward to our return.

Amazing home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

My two children and I stayed in this lovely home for over two weeks in June. It was so perfect, it made our vacation in Hawaii absolutely magical. I've been to Hawaii many times and it's the best place I've stayed. If you are not a crowded resort-type person/people, this is the place. It's in very private surroundings, horses nearby, country road, lush tropical gardens, view of the mountains. It felt like we were really living there and allowed us to fully explore the island and learn more about it. Willi and her family are kind and gracious. It's also only a 5 minute drive to the beach, 1 minute to the grocery store. It's really clean, well-taken care of, and very spacious. We were really sad when we left it! We will be back for certain. You won't be sorry staying here, you'd be lucky!
