Great location and great accomodations.
This was our fourth time staying in this beautiful condo. We love it and plan to return again next year!
Beautiful Condo, Fantastic Location
We just returned from a quick week in our favorite town, in what has to be our favorite condo yet. The location so close to the beach, and our favorite hang out My Paradise, was outstanding. A few steps to the white sand and warm sea was perfect. The real star though was this beautiful condo. The open design was accentuated by world class artwork throughout, making this feel like a true 5 star experience. Close enough to town center for a quick walk to all the restaurants and activities, while still being away from any of the night noise that comes with the typical in-town rentals. We loved every minute of our stay, and definitely plan to make this our first choice accommodations for future stays.
If possible, better than ever.
We stayed at Cynthia & Michael's condo at Las Tortugas again this winter from Feb 27 to March 24 and once again, we have only positive things to say about our stay. Cynthia & Michael are perfect hosts and any issues can be dealt with immediately. The property management people are around the property on a regular basis and always available. The internet service is very good, faster than last year. The location is perfect, close to the beach, two and a half blocks to the town square, step out the door and you can catch the bus/collectivo. We took a collectivo to Chedraui a couple of times a week (8 pesos per person) and returned by taxi (for 35 pesos). The condo and the condo development are very quiet and well kept. We had maid service with fresh linens every five days, which we really appreciated. Thanks again Cynthia & Michael, you are the best!
Just returned from a 3 week stay in Cynthia's perfect paradise. This condo does everything to soothe and nurture the mind, body, and soul and remind us of how fortunate we are. It is so spacious and airy, light but not in-your-face bright, so beautifully decorated, so luxuriously comfortable, so artistic and tasteful, and representative of all that is glorious about Mexico and it's people, culture, history and geography. Yes, you get ALL THAT when you walk in the door. And then some. We loved cooking in a kitchen stocked with more equipment and tools and linens and supplies than we could possibly dream of. And the gas grill was used extensively for multiple meals of fresh fish (whole & filets), lobster tails RIGHT OUT OF THE TRAPS .. (min $90 restaurant EACH, we paid $28 for 2 meals), and jumbo shrimp so big you couldn't be sure they weren't mini-lobsters too ! We dined both indoors and al fresco. One of our favorite things to do was stretch out on the comfy recliners on the spacious, breezy balcony and drink our wine while watching the people and families hike to and from the beach. Oh, did I mention that the beach is a 3 minute walk ? Out the door, down the stairs, through the exotic plants of the Las Tortugas walkway, and then 20 more steps and you're seaside. You're very close to the square and it's restaurants and shops too .. maybe a 6 minute walk. I don't know what else I can say about Cynthia's casa other than that it's immaculate and feels so good to be in that you just don't want to leave. One night of snuggling in that soft, king-size bed, watching movies and you'll start thinking about whether or not she'll ever want to sell and whether or not you have enough money in the bank to buy. Ha ! Special thanks to Cynthia for going above-and-beyond to make our vacation unforgettable and for sharing her home with us.
Beautiful condo, amazing location!
The condo was beautiful, and the kitchen was even better stocked than mine at home. The owner was wonderful and checked in with us. Great pool, hot tub, so close to the beach and restaurants. Perfect place to stay and our kids loved it too.
On a scale of 1 to 10, this place is an 11+
A friend of ours --who had not stayed here, but was considering it for a future visit-- recommended this AMAZING property. I cannot speak highly enough of this condo. We are a couple with a 2year old and had the best time here. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous--the plants and trees everywhere are so lush and make the space so inviting. The pool, though small, was perfect for a dip in the afternoon when the sun at the beach was too much. The condo itself is spacious and really nicely decorated. Absolutely loved all the art! You couldn't find a better location with such close proximity to the town square and just steps from the beach. We spent our morning watching pelicans diving into the ocean to feed, then walking along the beach and playing in the sand, afternoon naps in the condo in the hammock, a dip in the pool...and then all over again in the afternoon/evening. We had planned to do a day trip or two, but ended up staying in the immediate area for our full 7 day stay--every day we couldn't help but comment how much we lucked out. Our contact Cynthia was extremely helpful with information prior to and during our stay. What a truly fantastic place!!
Fun things to do in the area: Enjoy one of the best beaches in the Puerto Morelos locale, Snorkeling at the world's second largest barrier reef, Swimming in below ground level natural swimming holes (Cenotes), Visit a nearby crocodile zoo, dine at one of over 35 fine restaurants, all within a leisurely 5 to 7 minute walk, Charter deep sea fishing boats, etc.
