About Ron and Jody Robins
Ron and Jody moved to Colorado from Maryland shortly after they were married. It was love at first sight! They love the climate and the 'call of the outdoors'. They are very active; hiking, biking, golfing, playing tennis and skiing. Colorado has it all. With over 300 days of sunshine a year and low humidity , it is a pretty nice place to live. Monument turned out to be a nice place for Ron and Jody to raise their 3 children. Now empty nesters," we love to travel and have guests in our home to show off Colorado!"
Ron and Jody Robins purchased this House in 1994
Why Ron and Jody Robins chose Monument
We decided to live in Monument because we loved the large treed lots and views of the mountains. The small town of Monument appealed to us. It has a quaint downtown with many small boutique businesses ranging from antique, books, art, and jewelry stores. It has several restaurants and coffee shops. Monument also boasts of a winery that offers tastings of a variety of wines. It also has a local distillery that offers tastings of our local spirits. We enjoy living close to the country club that offers 18-hole golf course , four indoor tennis courts and indoor and outdoor swimming. The country club is semi-private so the public does have access to their full facilities on a fee basis.
What makes this House unique
We have the luxury of owning a home with lots of trees yet also a mountain view. There is a beautiful view of Pikes Peak from the living room and also from the hot tub on the back deck; a great place to watch the sun go down. We fell in love with the high ceilings and workmanship of the builder, especially with wood beams and crown molding, on the inside of the home. The open plan and layout are very attractive. A must for us is the nicely appointed, and large, kitchen and bathrooms.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Lovely, roomy home perfect for families
This is our second stay here. Close to USAFA North Gate. Lots of room for our group of 10. Enjoyed the hot tub too! Hosts are very responsive. This is a great rental and I highly recommend it.
Great vacation Home!
Our whole family had a very nice time at your beautiful home. Plenty of room for family breakfast before heading out to see the beautiful attraction close by. The deck was a great place to relax at the end of our day.
Exceeded my expectations
This 5 bedroom, 3 story spacious home with its comfortable and attractive furnishings housed my 91 year old mother, 3 teenage grandchildren, their two parents, my husband and myself. It's unusual for 8 people aged 12-91 to all be comfortable. The layout of the house worked well for this multigenerational family- the kids often congregating in the lower level of the house (pool room) while the adults distributed themselves both separately and together in the several family spaces on the main floor. Outdoor seating in both the front and rear patios complete the picture.
I can recommend this home without reservation and hope to return soon.

Midway between Denver and Colorado Springs
This is a spacious and clean older home...parts have been updated. There were 10 of us. Two couples had to share a bath and the young children shared the Master bath with us. We did run out of hot water a couple of times, but not for too long.
The game room in the basement was comfortable with a big pit group, pool table and kids games. Kitchen was well stocked and there are amenities nearby....restaurants, WalMart, Kum 'n Go, etc. We were really only there at night and early mornings. Owners were very accommodating.
Lovely house and Great Neighborhood
We had our family vacation and absolutely loved the house. The pictures and the description are accurate. The location is convenient between Denver & Colorado Springs. The stores and the restaurants are closely by as well.
I would highly recommend the house for family vacations or anyone visiting CO. Jody and Ron are wonderful people and easy to work with.
Pikes Peak, Garden of Gods, River Rafting are all within 20-45 minutes drive. Rocky Mountain National Park is about 1.5 drive.
Very spacious and well outfitted.
Very spacious and well outfitted. Owners were very responsive.
Woodmoor is a quiet community located just off the highway. It is conveniently located just 20 miles north of Colorado Springs and 20 miles south of Castle Rock and the Castle Rock factory outlets shopping. Denver is 40 miles away. Woodmoor is less than a 10 minute drive to the Air Force Academy and our back deck has a view of the Academy.
