4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom overlooking a small river valley perfect for a getaway.
We are a family of four who renovated the property in 2008 to the highest exacting standards. We come to the region of lunigiana
Owner purchased this Villa in 1999
Why Owner chose Bigliolo
A charming 250-year-old farmhouse set in 2.5 acres of its own vineyard. renovated to exacting standards using local craftsman and materials. If you want a quiet getaway with its own pool carefully place in the countryside so as not to stand out. The house offers it all, modern day convenience with rural rustic charm. The house is set on two levels the lower level being the predominant sleeping quarters , nice and cool in the summer, beautiful rooms leading onto the sun terrace with direct access to the swimming pool.

Very quiet, hidden away home. A beautiful restoration with all the modern features. Reasonable distance from groceries, restaurants and sites to see.
Thank you very much Dan, we look forward to seeing you again sometime.
A wonderful spot in beautiful Tuscany. A bit hard to get to and from the place on the roads.
Hi, one of the downsides of the countryside is that the roads can be a bit small, however it does mean you are very private. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again sometime.
Nice property but very difficult to find & drive to the property.
We enjoyed the home, as I traveled with my wife, my two grown sons and my daughter in law. We had rented a large van for our two week in Italy and it almost did not fit in the parking area.
The home itself was unique and we enjoyed the experience.
Hi Gary, Thanks for the review yes most italian roads are small in comparrison to US ones and I will update the website to mention it is not suitable for large camper vans., I am glad you enjoyed the house .
This property was absolutely stunning. It's quiet, secluded and peaceful. Everything you could want for a getaway. It's a little intimidating trying to find it at first but the owners make it as seamless as possible with directions. A walk down to the steam and waterfall is a must. There's ample room in the house for a whole family and town is just a quick drive away for groceries although I recommend the local restaurants.
Thank you Travis, I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
Beautiful location, good value for money
This house is in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by woodland and vines, with views of spectacular mountain peaks and away from the crowds on the coast. The house is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It makes a good base for exploring the Cinque Terre villages (you can get the train from the nearby town of Aulla) and if you like walking there are lots of paths nearby. You could easily explore further - to Florence or Pisa within 2 hours by car or train. The pool is lovely and provided a welcome relief from some high temperatures.
The house has one unique feature - a five minute walk brings you to your own private waterfall with a deep plunge pool that you can swim in, which is brilliant.
We appreciated the fact that the owner allowed a 4 night booking during the high season which was ideal for our tour of Italy. The only "even better if" was that we needed a little bit more information on the local area, restaurants, what to avoid etc for a short break. If you want to visit the coast in August, for example, you need to be there for 8am at the latest and you need some guidance on getting the best experience. We would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend! Book now!
We stayed here for our honeymoon (although we had our two year old with us) what a fabulous Vila! We couldn't have asked for better! It's nice to stay in a place with ample of space and a lovely view! Would highly recommend booking and staying! The owners are very helpful with any requests or requirements you may have and there is also a caretaker on hand if required!
