Sally Franklin purchased this Cottage in 2003
Why Sally Franklin chose Crantock
We fell in love with this cottage at first sight with its simple charm and have kept it as near to being original as possible. It is so cosy and has a sea side fun atmosphere with a real holiday feeling. The location is perfect for its close proximity to the famous award winning beach and incredible walks and excellent village amenities close by.
What makes this Cottage unique
Being central to the village with easy reach of so many great facilities makes its location perfect. A lovely village with two family pubs serving food a few yards away. Also a very well equipped local shop selling all you need to keep you going including takeaway pasties, pizzas and freshly baked bread etc . A good bus service is close by if needed

Lovely old cottage in a pretty village near to the sea
My partner and I stayed at Penhallow cottage for two weeks and we had a great time, and the weather was amazing and warm too. It is spacious, clean and comfy, and has all the things you could ever want and more. We loved the fact that you can walk down to the beach, saving on car park fees!Having a washing machine and a decent clothes line was a bonus. Nice paved back garden with seating, and the most beautiful colourful flowers and shrubs in the front garden. Carol and Ena, the housekeepers were nice and friendly. Crantock is a pretty little village with a close by shop and post office, a couple of nearby pubs that also sell nice meals. Parking in the pub car park was only a couple of minutes away, but a little awkward on days of arrival and departure. We loved the quaint cottage and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday. We hope to return one day, if you would let us Sally? Thank you .
Thank you for your very kind words. So pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and would be delighted to welcome you back again anytime. I will pass this on to Ena and Carol, they will be delighted to hear your comments. Your review is much appreciated. Sally
Great Crantock village cottage
Cottage was clean and quiet, kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and we appreciated the use of the washing machine and dryer. Great location to spend time at beaches in the area including Crantock, Holywell and Newquay beaches as well as visit Bodmin moor and the SW coast.
