Immaculate apartment in convenient location
The apartment was very clean and artistically decorated in a beautiful modern style. It was close to the city center, near the Plaza Merced and Plaza Constitucion, with many restaurants, tapas bars and cafes within a short distance. There is a taxi stand in front of the Plaza Merced, which is only a 5 minute walk. If one likes to walk, he/she can easily walk to the waterfront and the Alcazaba. We found Malaga to be beautiful, with many attractions. Granada and the fabulous Alhambra are only about 1.5 hours away by car or bus. I would highly recommend a trip there, but be sure to reserve tickets early, as most are controlled by the tour companies. About 8000 people visit daily, so expect crowds. We also took a boat tour of the harbor. Although only about 30 euros for two people, there really wasnt much to see, so I would skip that tour next time. You will be very close to the Picasso museum, which is definitely worth the visit if you like his work. The estate agents were also very cordial and responsive. We definitely recommend this property.
We really enjoyed the location of Sam apartment. Kitchen was nice and well equipped. The bedrooms could use slightly larger beds. And housekeeping should vacuum the floors prior to receiving guests. Otherwise we had a good time in Malaga.
High specification apartment close to Málaga centre
Friendly Solaga welcome
Clean, well-equipped luxury apartment
Choice of local supermarkets
Included airport transfer
I would say that the photos are a fair representation but perhaps I had not appreciated how much I valued light and private outdoor space.
Apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a great location. The service from Solaga was great as always
Great apartment and location
Lovely clean modern apartment. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom worked very well for privacy. Would have liked some sun on the small terrace, as the weather was very sunny. Only thing we missed.
Spacious, Great Area, and cute
The condo is located in walking distance to a lot of things and activities - birth place of Picasso museum, restaurants, market for groceries and a little further more historic sites and the harbor. My first concern was safety. I never been to Spain before and as a single black woman that arrived by myself I was scared my first night. Going out in the day walking around and seeing how friendly and nice the place was quickly changed my mind. My mother and sister arrived later and it grew on them as well. The pictures are pretty accurate but a few changes. For example, the bathroom with the shower and the curtain has been upgraded to a glass door. The only thing I recommend changing is there was a book/ guide discussing the condo. There was a page that said where the rubbish bins were. I'm American and never heard of a rubbish bin. I have watched Harry Potter so I knew rubbish is trash/garbage but the bins was confusing and caused an incident where the locals looked at us like we were crazy. I find the incident hilarious and part of my travel story. Great experience would use them again.
Malaga is Andalusia's second largest city with 600,000 inhabitants and is located on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The city has many exciting cultural activities and is in the race to become Cultural City 2016. Malaga dating back to 800 BC and has over the years been marked by the Greeks, Romans and Arab Maurer and it bears the imprint of the city today. The city is in the eyes of many partly overlooked, as many tourists choose to spend their holidays in the cities surrounding Malaga. But it includes everything you need for a perfect holiday, as it is a strategically good location. There is plenty of culture, city break, beaches, mountains and there are only 100 km to the Sierra Nevada, where you can ski. Or what about a trip to Granada and watch the world-famous castle Alhambra which is only an hour drive by car. Malaga is full of small bars and restaurants where you can enjoy various kinds of tapas and good wine. We warmly recommend the city for a perfect city break.
