Fantastic stay in Sonoma - July 2019
Sonoma Rosso is a wonderful place to stay. Linda was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. It's a great location to use as a base for your wine tastings.
The cottages were well appointed down to the amenities in the bathroom. The pool was great and a nice way to cool down after long days of wine tasting.
This is clearly a 5 star property and ideal for two couples traveling together. Thanks, Linda!
Beauty, comfort and peaceful ambience
This property is set in the beautiful Sonoma Valley, surrounded by vineyards, with peaceful ambience and home-like comfort. Linda and Michael were perfect hosts, welcoming us and showing us around the cottages and property, with recommendations for vineyards and local activities, even leaving us our first breakfast fixings. The beds were very comfortable, the pool warm and welcoming and the kitchen well appointed. They invite us to help ourselves to pick from the fresh raspberry bushes, and herbs for our cooking. We could not have asked for anything better. Excellent location.
First and last impression was amazing.
First and last impression was amazing. The owner welcomed us as we drove into the driveway. The place was in wonderful condition. Better than described. Everything that you need is there. We even prepared and cooked one meal there. It was our first time in Wine Country and this place seemed to be located close to every winery. We also like to hike and Sugarloaf Ridge Park was a couple of miles away, perfect for us. You can see some amazing Redwoods and get an elevated hike in too.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They do have a total of two separate cottages that would be perfect if you are traveling with another couple.
Thanks for the kind words and comments on our location. We love being surrounded by state and regional parks and having 2 dozen wineries/tasting rooms within a few miles! Whether you pop over the hill to Napa Valley, meander along the Russian River to the ocean, take a quick drive down valley to Sonoma or head north to Healdsburg - you’ve got the perfect launching spot. We are so glad you enjoyed the property, and would be delighted to welcome you back with friends!
