About Villa La Condamine
We are a professional couple who work in London and have the need to get away from the rat race from time to time and recharge - This house has proved to be our saviour
Villa La Condamine purchased this Villa in 2016
Why Villa La Condamine chose Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val
The very close proximity to all that this wonderful town of St Antoinin has to offer, was a huge attraction in our deciding to purchase. Although just 0.5 kms from the town, its a peaceful location and we can relax in the private garden with views to the river & cliffs beyond. We also have wonderful views to the Aveyron Gorge which are just stunning - whether in the day or evening
What makes this Villa unique
Everything on our doorstep ! Easy (flat) walking directly into town, yet at the same the house offers a really private garden , hedged on all sides . And of course the added attraction of having a villa WITH POOL & GARDEN so close to the heart of St Antonin Noble Val

Beautiful villa in a gorgeous medieval French town.
The property was lovely, well equipped, clean, spacious and had a fabulous view of the river and gorgeous. The downstairs bedroom and en suite are very large, but not accessed via the the rest of the house. There was plenty of crockery, cooking equipment and space to cook for yourself, and supermarket was a 5 mins drive. The fans were a good addition as we had some hot days.
Less than 5 mins walk into town to get baguettes and pastries each morning. St Antonin Noble Val is beautiful, feels very ancient with a busy Sunday market and lots of places to eat.
We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the terrace, watching people canoeing down the river. Never explored this part of France before, but we’ll certainly be back.
Could not be bettered
Fantastic location right on the river and only a short flat stroll into town, and it has the bonus of a pool. Although some of our party preferred swimming in the river as it was warmer than the pool. We went right at the end of the season but had fantastic weather. Very well equipped kitchen, although we didn’t eat in much. UK tv if wanted too. Had great contact with the agents of the property and they couldn’t of been more helpful. Fantastic walking around the town with clearly marked routes and loads of places for us still to visit . Will definitely return.
This area was at the heart of ‘The Hundred Years War’ and touched by the Cathars, Huguenots and the Knights Templar.
Just a short drives from other Medieval towns steeped in this history and still enjoy a quiet simplicity, together with friendly local people who have a warmth to match their lovely countryside.
The area is generally unspoilt by the over-crowding of tourists tho0ugh in August, it can be crowded on market days etc.
Nearby are Medieval villages, Bastide towns, Chateaux, Abbeys, Churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering River Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.
Also wine growing regions ~ ideal for a half day excursion to sample some of the local wines.
Horse riding, canoeing, cycling, fishing (in season), bird watching, rock climbing, tree wire, paragliding, wine tasting, museums, tennis and of course walking. Golf is available at Albi (18-hole delightful course).
An afternoon's excursion by canoe through the Aveyron Gorge is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.
Be sure not to miss the local market in St Antonin held on Sunday mornings and Villefranche de Rouergue on Thursdays. For more information on the area, please visit website :
