About Rob Weaver
I purchased this cabin back in 1997 as a single guy and did a total remodel. I lived in it as my full time house for over 10 years. Once married and kids came along, we moved to the valley for closer proximity to schools, etc. In a few years we are moving back! Nothing beats the cool and clean mountain air, fantastic views, instant hike in the woods, quick spins on the mountain bike or grind the gears on the road bike climbing the canyon. In the Summer head over the top to Park City, in the winter enjoy the ski runs and a soak in the hot tub.

Why Rob Weaver chose Murray
My cabin offers the best in proximity to the city, ski resorts and guaranteed access no matter the weather right off the main road. Lots of off-street parking.
What makes this Cabin unique
Enjoy a warm soak in the hot tub then curl up by a cozy fire and enjoy hot cocoa and a movie. Watch the sunset down the canyon from the front lawn, hike to the beaver pond and see the moose, geese, ducks and if you are lucky a coyote right from the front door!

We enjoyed our stay, and had plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids (8,9,10,11).
Rob is super kind and easy to connect with, and has supplied the home with just about everything you need.
Great spot for ski trip
The location is undoubtedly the best part, but that’s not all. Plenty of space for our family of five to spread out. Great books, toys and board games for us to play at night. DVD upstairs for the kids to watch while we prepped dinner for the family with plenty of kitchen supplies. Used the hot tub 4 of the 6 nights to loosen the body post skiing. Highly recommend for a family. Forgot to mention, Rob met us the first noght to show us around...that was a great touch for us interactive types. Well mannered and informative...thanks Rob
Easy access to Solitude and Brighton
The cabin was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The downstairs is nice and open with 2 bedrooms downstairs. The downstairs bathroom is a little cramped, but adequate. The upstairs with other beds and full bath is a little challenging to access as the stairs are narrow and tall, but no one in our group had a problem. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. The upstairs bathroom could be accessed from the outside, so no need to walk through the cabin while dripping wet. Seems like a small thing, but there were plenty of towels, which was nice with the hot tub. There was plenty of wood for the wood stove in the living room. Overall the place was great and I would stay here again! Also, the owner checked in a few times and would have fixed anything that was wrong (but this was not needed).
So close to Solitude and Brighton!
We stayed here for a mini family reunion, and it was perfect for the group that we had, especially considering there were 2 small kids with us. There were plenty of toys and games to keep them occupied in our down time off the slopes! The hot tub was great but we did have some issue with it the last night but were able to figure it out. Overall it was a great stay, however it would be nice if there was a handbook for certain things for the house. It was great to be so close to resorts and be in a gorgeous canyon!
Fantastic View and lodging
Our family loved the location of this cabin. The kids love the tunnel, fireman’s pole and hot tub which is a must after a day of skiing. The games and tons of books also were enjoyed. Owners were easy to communicate with for questions or recommendations. We will definitely be back!
Great ski vacation house!
Enjoyed the home, it is a nice place and very close to Solitude and Brighton ski resorts. Owner is very nice and responsive. The oven went out during our stay and he had a new one installed in 24 hours. The house has a number of amenities and floorplan that are fun for kids 4+.
Located just 12 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon in the Silverfork community. 1 mile to Solitude Ski Resort and 2 miles from Brighton Ski Resort. Great skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, etc.
