Exactly what we needed!
We enjoyed our stay in Biloxi. The Condo was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was very close at hand, from the casinos to restaurants to a nice golf course. We would definitely stay there again.
I agree that this condo unit has a great location. Would love to have y'all return. Take care, Denise
Lots of room
Lots of room,if you have a big group. It is dated but had all the comforts of home!
So glad to have your big group comfortable at the condo. Hope you will return at a later date.
The property was outdated , needed a complete makeover! The furniture needed to be replaced , u can not just cover them with throw blankets & slip covers😞
The condo needed a deep cleaning , baseboards, bathrooms & kitchen needed a little elbow greese. Paint & caulking would do wonders.
For what we paid , we expected better😞
The traveling 6
I am truly sorry that the condo did not live up to your expectation. As you can tell from past and future reservations the condo worked for them. Your reservation did bump up against another that had just left that morning but I do know that I personally cleaned as well as swept, vacuumed and steamed the floors, clean bed sheets, cleaned all 3 pieces of the 3 bathrooms (I am sorry that I could not get the toilet fixed for y'all - very slow refill)
I hope that you will return the the Mississippi Gulf Coast at a later date.
Terrific place to stay
Just got back late last night from an 11 day vacation which ended with a few days in Atlanta touring the zoo, Coca Cola museum and the Aquarium. We enjoyed all of this but we all agreed the stay in Biloxi was the best part of the trip.
Getting away from the Nova Scotia cold was great and having laundry facilities in the condo was a real plus as we didn't have to over pack. I am quite picky about things and I found the condo very roomy, well equipped and comfortable. The ability to prepare our meals was a great money saver as well as ensuring we ate the foods we liked most.
With each of us having our own bedroom and full bath we didn't get in each other's way and at night we each had our own space with a TV to wind down and relax after a busy day. These were 2 really great features for 2 women travelling with a 13 yr old boy.
There were lots of towels, kitchen and bed linens and even cleaning and laundry supplies. Vacuuming, wiping up counters and bathrooms was fast and easy (he's 13).
Most mornings were spent at the pool and then Cameron spent time shooting hoops (could see him from the bedroom window) before we all walked over to spend time at the beautiful beach. He fished off the pier and got a few nibbles but (unfortunately?) didn't land any fish.
I have mobility issues but the condo was within easy walking distance of many interesting places. Easy access to the highway made exploring areas farther away by car totally enjoyable.
We had only one complaint and it bothered all three of us - WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE.
Thanks Denise for the use of this fantastic home away from home.
Great condo with perfect location to everything Biloxi has to offer
Enjoyed spending a weekend in Biloxi with friends. The condo was perfect, we all had our own space and our own bathrooms. The view facing the beach when walking out of the building was breathtaking! Added security of nighttime lobby requiring extra key gave us all piece of mind. Water pressure was great in all showers! The pictures do not do this place justice! It was too cold for us to jump in the pool but across the street is the beach and we were able to Uber right down to the casinos for $5, overall an amazing stay-would book again in a heartbeat! Thanks for sharing your place with us!
You mentioned so many different points that I had never thought of. Thank you for the wonderful review. Hope to have y'all return!!
Clean and quiet
Great place for family vacations. Nice, quiet, and affordable!!
This unit is located on the first floor, and is within walking distance of the biloxi lighthouse and visitors center. From the balcony, you will have an unbelievably historic view of our sweeping coast line, with the beau rivage and hard rock casinos to your left, and the oak-lined streets below. There are numerous shops, arts & crafts, and places of antiquity to occupy your time. The saenger theatre, biloxi’s oldest cinema and theatre, presents several performances throughout the year, and is an easy walk from the condo. By the hard rock you will find a small craft harbor that has fresh shrimp for sale during the year -- just be sure to go early in the morning!!
Within driving distance we have a fantastic museum, the ohr-o'keefe museum of art, home of 'the mad potter.” also, in the same area are the biloxi schooners (sailboats), which would offer you a beautiful sunset cruise along our shoreline for an unforgettable evening. If you really enjoy the water you can take a day trip on the ship island excursion out of the gulfport harbor. The excursions are managed by a wonderful coast family who has continued these trips since 1926! However, the trips are usually from march until october.
If you just want to chill and relax, then this is the place. With a southern view, you will be warmed in the winter by a southern sun and blocked from the north wind. In the summer, you will enjoy our wonderful breeze off the beach and be shaded on the balcony.
After katrina, many of our large oaks that were severely damaged from the storm have been sculpted into sea life creatures – as they say “when life gives you lemons…” the largest collection of these finely sculpted creatures is directly across from the condo. You can walk along the median to view the different sculptures made for us after the storm.
As you cross over hwy. 90 from the sculptures you will reach our boardwalk, which now extends for 10+ miles. Walking, jogging, biking, or even rollerblading is easily done and incredibly enjoyable along the coast boardwalk.
The beach has a number of vendors for you to choose from for activities of parasailing, paddleboats, and jetskiing.
If you are retired military, we have keesler air force base, where its marina will rent you boats.
Along our coast is the historic home beauvoir, the last home of jefferson davis, where a civil war reenactment is held during the month of october. Next to the home is our gulf coast coliseum which has concerts throughout the year.
Do you like to play golf? We have many courses, each with their own personality.
At the condo, itself, you have the option of swimming, playing tennis, relaxing in the hot tub, shooting basketball, or ping pong along. You can also enjoy having a family barbeque under the numerous oaks in the large grass field, plenty of room for croquet, whiffleball, hide-and-seek, etc…
So come on down and check out the coast, an area home to any number of adventures that will beautifully show our state’s warming hospitality worth remembering.
