This unit is located on the first floor, and is within walking distance of the biloxi lighthouse and visitors center. From the balcony, you will have an unbelievably historic view of our sweeping coast line, with the beau rivage and hard rock casinos to your left, and the oak-lined streets below. There are numerous shops, arts & crafts, and places of antiquity to occupy your time. The saenger theatre, biloxi’s oldest cinema and theatre, presents several performances throughout the year, and is an easy walk from the condo. By the hard rock you will find a small craft harbor that has fresh shrimp for sale during the year -- just be sure to go early in the morning!!

Within driving distance we have a fantastic museum, the ohr-o'keefe museum of art, home of 'the mad potter.” also, in the same area are the biloxi schooners (sailboats), which would offer you a beautiful sunset cruise along our shoreline for an unforgettable evening. If you really enjoy the water you can take a day trip on the ship island excursion out of the gulfport harbor. The excursions are managed by a wonderful coast family who has continued these trips since 1926! However, the trips are usually from march until october.

If you just want to chill and relax, then this is the place. With a southern view, you will be warmed in the winter by a southern sun and blocked from the north wind. In the summer, you will enjoy our wonderful breeze off the beach and be shaded on the balcony.

After katrina, many of our large oaks that were severely damaged from the storm have been sculpted into sea life creatures – as they say “when life gives you lemons…” the largest collection of these finely sculpted creatures is directly across from the condo. You can walk along the median to view the different sculptures made for us after the storm.

As you cross over hwy. 90 from the sculptures you will reach our boardwalk, which now extends for 10+ miles. Walking, jogging, biking, or even rollerblading is easily done and incredibly enjoyable along the coast boardwalk.

The beach has a number of vendors for you to choose from for activities of parasailing, paddleboats, and jetskiing.

If you are retired military, we have keesler air force base, where its marina will rent you boats.

Along our coast is the historic home beauvoir, the last home of jefferson davis, where a civil war reenactment is held during the month of october. Next to the home is our gulf coast coliseum which has concerts throughout the year.

Do you like to play golf? We have many courses, each with their own personality.

At the condo, itself, you have the option of swimming, playing tennis, relaxing in the hot tub, shooting basketball, or ping pong along. You can also enjoy having a family barbeque under the numerous oaks in the large grass field, plenty of room for croquet, whiffleball, hide-and-seek, etc…

So come on down and check out the coast, an area home to any number of adventures that will beautifully show our state’s warming hospitality worth remembering.

  • 4 of 5

We were in Biloxi for a week for my daughters dance competition. The condo was vey spaciuos and had great amenities and all the comforts of home. Great location across the street from the beach and close to the areas attractions and restaraunts. The whole process was seemless and simple. Denise was very helpful and prompt in her response A great value!

Chateau LeGrand

  • 4 of 5

We came to the Chateau for my husband's 70th birthday. The three bedrooms (and three bathrooms) were the perfect size for our three families. Denise said there were plenty of towels and sheets, and she was so right. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped, there was even a list of nearby attractions for us to use. The only downsides were not the fault of the Chateau. We are used to the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches in Florida, the Biloxi beach was not very clean, we just hopped in the car are drove a few miles away. Also, there was a very loud train that rolled through around 4:00 a.m. each morning. I would certainly recommend this condo for a large group of folks who want to spread out.

Owner's Response: You are certainly right on all counts. Y'all were the best group of 10 I have ever had in this condo unit. I am glad that the towels, sheets, and bedding worked for everyone. I totally understand about the beach. Tropical Storm Cindy did not help much in that area. You are the first tenants to mention the train but everyone has different sleeping patterns. So glad the condo worked for y'all and world love to have you return.

Face Lift

  • 2 of 5

The property is old and run down, it is in need of a huge face lift! Also, there is a roach and spider problem.

Owner's Response: I appreciate your review and will turn it over to the condo management. I know that they spray the units. In June we did have Tropical Storm Cindy as well as the wettest month on record and I myself at my personal home have had roaches since then even with roach motels spread around my home. I do feel that the living unit you were in is nicely furnished and it is not old and run down. I had also just painted the patio railings so that they were not faded as you sat on the patio looking out. The foyer and hallways are clean, vacuumed and freshly painted. The pool is clean and very usable. I will agree the exterior of the building does need painting. Those are in the plans. I am so sorry that you had this experience.
