Enjoy an outdoor BBQ on the large deck, equipped with a gas grill. And imagine a campfire and s'mores around the fire pit in the backyard. There is plenty of parking space for a boat and trailer, too.
Rather than staying at a hotel/motel in the Nisswa/Brainerd/Baxter area, you could be at our cozy cabin instead. The lake life is easy to enjoy. We're just a mile from a public boat access to Gull Lake, and nearby Gull Lake Marina and Boats and Beyond both rent pontoons, fishing boats and jet skis.
Other local attractions include shopping in downtown Nisswa, go-carts, mini-golf, fishing guide services, Paul Bunyan Trail, water parks, Brainerd International Raceway and the finest assortment of golf courses in all of Minnesota - and all are open to the public.

Great small cabin for family
We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. It was a great location, close to many things. We didn't mind not being directly on the lake. The description and pictures are very accurate. The only issues we had were, there was no bedding provided for the pull out couch (we ended up having to purchase more bedding last minute). Also, pine tree at end of the driveway needs to be trimmed or removed as it was difficult to back our boat into the driveway. I also was not too happy with the extra $25 per kid per day to the price. If the cabin sleeps 6, price should just be a set price for the night. We were only 5 total.
Cozy, quiet and very clean!
I booked this cabin for a couples weekend toward the end of the summer. The cabin is EXACTLY like the pictures; cozy, well kept and immaculately clean. We were able to rent a pontoon and go out on Gull for a whole day. Not only was the cabin everything we'd hoped, the owners were so prompt with all of their correspondence. I had to email them with a question the first night, and they actually had called and left me a voicemail the next morning. I would highly recommend this cabin for couples and small families. We will definitely be back.
Cozy and Quiet
Clean, cozy and quiet yet within 10 minutes of Nisswa shopping and restaurants there and on the lake.
Very Quiet, Close to Restaurants, Great Value!
Very private, quiet location. Cabin is cozy and has all the basics you need when on vacation. Although it is not on Gull Lake, it is 5 minutes from public access or boat rental. Price is very reasonable for the area. Owner is super friendly and very accommodating. Relax around the fire pit at the end of the day. Lots of wildlife to watch. Even comes with cable TV and WiFi. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
Girls Weekend Cabin Style
My friends and I rented this cabin and the one next door this summer for our annual girls weekend. The cabins were very clean and comfortable. The cabins are stocked with all the basics. The owners are very friendly and even stopped by to see how we were doing when we arrived. The neighborhood is gorgeous and relaxing. The price was very reasonable. The only downside is that, although it is close to the lake, there is no public access. We had to drive 15 minutes to get to a public access beach.
Cabin in the woods
We had a great experience in the cabin. It was clean, well stocked and worked awesome for us. We had a campfire every night and enjoyed it so much more than a hotel room! Our friends also enjoyed staying with us and the 2 kids just loved our "new house" as they called it. It slept 4 adults and 2 kids perfectly. If we come back to the Brainerd area again, we will have to see if the cabin is available for sure!
