Enjoy this popular four-season resort community when you stay at this comfortable, three-bedroom Big Bear Lake vacation home! With a dog-friendly attitude, a private hot tub, access to a dock*, and lovely lake views, this is the ideal Big Bear retreat!
Located in the San Bernardino Forest, about 100 miles from Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake offers two ski resorts (both about 15 minutes from your doorstep), a charming downtown, and plenty of lake sports out on the water. Of course, with your own hot tub, you may be content to stay near the house and soak your cares away.
At night, you'll enjoy a wood-burning fireplace for warmth and ambiance, as well as a flatscreen TV, cable, and a DVD player. You'll also have a full kitchen for family meals and an outdoor deck, complete with views and a gas grill.
Three bedrooms and a loft offer a king-size bed, a queen, and four twins, easily accommodating up to eight guests. You can even bring your furry family members, though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply.
When you stay here, you'll also have WiFi, as well as a washer and dryer so you can explore Big Bear Lake worry-free. If clothes get dirty, just do some laundry at your vacation home!
For great winter skiing, Bear Mountain Resort and Snow Summit Resort are both a short drive away. And in summer, the lakeside will beckon with activities like swimming, boating, and more.
No matter how you choose to spend your time, this laid-back, family-friendly Big Bear Lake vacation home will be a perfect homebase for exploring this popular California resort town!
*Due to unpredictable water levels, we recommend renting a boat slip at a nearby marina, and using the local marina's boat launches. Please call Vacasa for details.*
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Enjoyed our stay. View, location, safety, condition of the property was in great shape. Visit again.
The home was fine for a short weekend away, unfortunately the entire booking process soured the experience. Having to drive several miles out of the way, only to retrieve a hand written access code at the VACASA office was an incredible waste of time. Also, booking through VRBO, which then somehow also booked through VACASA then imposed duplicate fees. Paying more than the weekend rate in fees is beyond unacceptable. Also, the hot tub fee should be optional, as we are medically unable to utilize this amenity and should not have been charged for this. Never again.
The house is lovely and neighbors very freindly. Other than having to clean up prior tenant dog waste, we enjoyed the property.
I arrived at 3:30, early for check in, but the kind gentleman saw me and I was able to get the lockbox code.
Locations is great. We loved the backyard and the view from it, our dogs were happy there. House a bit outdated but we enjoyed the stay, it had everything we needed.
