It is a completely private apartment, built in 2017, with only one year of use, used for the first time in January 2017. New building, with two elevators, huge common terrace at the top of the building, with magnificent views over the city of Lisbon and the Tagus River

Opportunities for improvement

They were super cool about letting us check in early since we were coming off a red eye that landed at 9am. They sent me the wrong address and then I could not understand the woman who was supposed to receive us and she was incapable of providing directions or landmarks near the building. Plus, she was rude and assumed I was wrong until I showed her the address in the confirmation. Once we finally figured out they left a number off the address, we were able to guess where to go and found it. The apartment was awesome, great location, comfortable beds, AC. But, when we went to nap there was construction banging in the unit above us which was terrible after being tired from traveling all night. Then we discovered ants in the bathroom that eventually made their way into the bedroom and onto the bedside table and all over the bedroom. The location is fantastic though! Fix the ants and check in process and I’d stay here again.

Amazing place to stay

We absolutely loved staying in this apartment and Lisbon in general. The location is perfect; in a flat part of town close to the main transportation lines, TimeOut market and other landmarks. The place was clean and comfortable and everyone involved is very responsive and friendly. The apartment is keypad locked so you don't have to carry around keys. The maps and guide books left in the apartment were a nice touch, we recommend the DK Eyewitness one!! Also recommend going to the top of elevador da bica (about 3 blocks away) and having 1 euro beers. Thank you!!

Perfect location to explore Lisbon

We thought the apartment was in a really great location as we were Not interested in being in the center of tourist attractions. Rather this location was so convenient to the train station, subway and buses. Shopping was close by, a great park and Time Out Market. We recommend a guided tour of Lisbon , Eddie at Seagull Tours. He showed us all the important sights to see via Mercedes minivan. No hills to climb on foot. Great way to customize what you want to see later and learn so much about ligand Portugal’s history. One thing to check on is the possibility of building construction adjacent to this property. The neighborhood has a lot of construction going on. Only one negative: please install a new toilet Seat. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and clean apartment in a good location

We were very comfortable in this nice apartment. It was quite spacious, clean and in a convenient location close to restaurants and the Cais do Sobre metro and train stations. One small disappointment: The double bed was really two twin beds pushed together.

What a Great place to stay.

Gonzalo and Amelia were excellent to work with. They sent us invaluable local insights and were responsive to us whenever we communicated. The apartment is beautiful as is the building. The location was great for us. Close to the river, Time Out Market, Cais de Sodre and Commerse Square. We liked that we could get most every thing we needed with out climbing up and down the hills. When we did want to go up, the funicular is an easy 2 minute walk to take you up to The Chiado. Gotta love Lisbon. Clif and Pam
