Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This condo was located in the center of town. You could walk to nearly everything. We would book this condo again.
The only positive of this property was the location, which was excellent - close to many restaurants, coffee shop on property. It was was also fairly clean. Other than that, it was a pretty bad experience. It's on the second floor facing a parking garage, and a bright light on that building comes on each night. Both bedrooms have vertical blinds with some missing - so you can easily see in, and the light streams in all night. It seems like the least that could be done is to either repair the blinds or install light blocking curtains.
The unit is next to trash pick up, so starting at about 5 a.m., the trucks are very loud. Also, the shower turns off randomly, the TV sound turned off for a while, and there was no discernible heat in the unit...not sure if I missed how to turn it on, but my call to the property manager on this went unanswered. No bedroom TV, pretty bare-bones overall.
I never do reviews, FYI, but felt that this very bad experience should be shared for those looking at this property.
My husband and I took a trip to Seattle to celebrate his 45th birthday. Upon arrival, it was a bit cumbersome to get into the parking garage, as that lockbox has a different code then the one inside to get the keys to the house. I had to call twice to try and figure it out, and even then, the person on the phone was a bit confused. We finally figured it out, and were able to get in. The location is great; walking distance to just about everything, great shops, restaurants, Pike Market, light rail, and more. Downside is that it's facing a busy alley, next to the convention center, and trucks arrive daily, and early, making tons of noise that can be heard easily from all around the apartment. Also, the blinds in both the bedroom and living room were missing slats, and so light would come through early in the morning.
This condo's location was perfect for the trip I took to attend a conference in Seattle. It's blocks away from the convention center, downtown shopping, and Pike Place market.
Once inside apartment the location is great for access to downtown and the Convention Center. Yes the noise in the early hours from garbage trucks is true. Could use a bit more tender loving preparation.
