About Shay Amber Bollt

My husband and I have a great love of historic architecture, antiques and art. We have been restoring old homes in Asheville since 2000. In 2013, we decided to combine our passions by creating these inspired spaces for guests to stay while they explore all the vibrant culture and beautiful mountains found in and around Asheville. The result is our newly renovated apartment building.

Finally ... on my 4th time coming to Asheville.

  • 5 of 5

This was a good place. I've gotten fed up with VRBO sometimes especially coming to Asheville but I was happy staying here. It was very clean and nice. I was comfortable at night and plenty warm on some bitter cold days. Owners are helpful and really nice. Price seems good and it's probably worth more compared to some others I've stayed in. Highly recommended.

Good times in asheville

I was very pleased with my stay here. I just needed to get away for a little while. Asheville is only 2 hours from home so on short notice I had a wonderful vacation. The place was very clean and nice. I was glad there was coffee. I can be very high maintenance sometimes, but I've not nothing to complain about staying here. 5 stars.

I travel a lot for business. This is one of a few locations I can count on to be clean and comfortable. The owner is easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Our bad luck turned into a wonderful vacation.

  • 5 of 5

On our 4th night in Asheville we were downtown enjoying some drinks when my husband lost our keys. At 2:00 AM on a saturday night we were locked out. I was horrified to have to call and wake the owners. Shay called me back in 10 minutes and David came over and unlocked the door with a new key in 20 minutes. I felt so bad I must have apologized 10 times. But they were great about it. On the phone and in person they were really gracious and genuinely made us feel like it was ok.

Thanks for being so cool! It's such a nice place. I can't wait to come back and next time I'll hold on to our keys ;)
