What a view! This lovely top floor condo sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico with a full view of the water from the kitchen/dining, living room and the 20 foot lanai. Sleep and awake to the sounds of the surf. The beach is steps away. The condo is centrally located on the island with easy access to shopping and restaurants and about one block to trolley.

This condo sleeps 4, with 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds. There are two baths, both with showers (one is a walk-in). Tile floors throughout with wood laminate in the bedrooms.

I love it here!

What beautiful sunsets right from the Lanai Condo is beautiful furnished. There is all the convenience of homes, you are just steps. to the beautiful sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Shopping and Restaurant 's convenience is great! I have stayed here two years and hope to go back.

Mostly pleeasant with an awesome view

This condo has an awesome view in a great location. We loved the layout with the bedrooms in the back and the living quarters up front which allows for a lot of privacy and relaxation.

The outside furniture has been upgraded since the VBRO photos and there is plenty of seating on the lanai. I do agree with a previous review that a paddle fan or 2 would beneficial for enjoying the awesome view and maybe even sitting outside for meals. The humidity was just too much to be an enjoyable lanai experience this trip.

There seems to be plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. The pots and pans for cooking and baking are lacking in a few basics.

We reported to the management company that the previous guest must have melted something silver or aluminum on the bottom of the oven. As this oven looks like it might be an upgrade we did not want to try to scrape it off, so we lived with it. This probably should have been noticed and taken care of at the last cleaning.

We do recommend some hooks around the condo to hang hats, keys, extra hand towels in the bathroom.

Some throws and toss pillows and small tables to set drinks on would also make the living room more comfortable and warm.

Shame on the guest who threw all the beach equipment into the storage unit in one big ugly pile. We spent a good deal of the morning digging through to find mostly unusable beach equipment. As its cheaper to buy than rent we bought some useable equipment and left it there for future guests.

Shame on the guest or guests who decided to mix all the pieces together of 3 different puzzles. Maybe they thought this would be funny.

One problem we did have was the master shower being lukewarm at best due to the major mold on the plastic faucet handle. So much mold, it was the conclusion of maintenance this impeded the hot water. He was going to report to the owners that a plumber was needed as this work is out of his scope. We never heard anything else and the four of us hared the shower in the guest bath for the remaining 9 days. Quite the inconvenience. Two of us are allergic to mold, we also consider this a health issue. Although our stay was mostly pleasant, we are deducting 2 stars for indifference to guests.

Nice place, could use more seating

Good stay at Sunset Terrace. 203 has some upgrades but lacking some things. Needs more seating. And some small tables. New stove, dishwasher and fridge were nice. Not sure I like the electronic lock, no key. Guess I can get used to it but we always had to have the code on us somewhere.

Incredible view could easliy be a 5 star

Pros: Property has a great view of the gulf. Screened balcony allows you to keep doors open to hear the gentle waves rolling in. The condo has a nice layout and was very clean. 5 stars for that.

Cons: furniture is outdated - but after a day or two that is easily overlooked while enjoying the gulf beach and view from balcony. However, what could not be overlooked was that the unit only has 4-5 bath towels - no 2 that matched. And only 3 beach towels that we could find - non matching of course. The beach "toys etc" could be upgraded. The beach umbrella was broken - so we borrowed one family and the beach chairs could be upgraded. We are all adults so I cant comment on the toys, although the whole holding area was sandy along with the chairs etc. in it. Perhaps the people using the unit before us did not bother to brush the sand off before putting away, but cleaning should check before next guests arrive. Although there was an adequate washer and dryer for the towels, it took away from the "vacation" feel one hopes for when on vacation. Management did request a written review and it pretty much mirrored this review.

I suggested they take one week rental and buy towels, chairs and some new furniture. The upgrade would allow for higher rental in my opinion. Or at least make vacationers a little more happy.

I plan on finding out as I will likely rent this unit again next year.

Great place and location

Beautiful location can't go wrong here ! place was clean and comfortable, everything we needed. Suggestion would be a few rugs kitchen bathroom beside the bed . No matter how hard you try it's almost impossible to keep sand up . Would love to stay here again great value

Amazing View

My husband, teenage son, 4 year old grandson and mom stayed at this condo or a week and absolutely loved it. Upon arrival the condo was very clean and looked exactly as it did in the pictures. The condo is spacious and we did not feel crowded at all. The balcony view is amazing and the beach is not crowded at all. My mom and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the early mornings sipping on our coffee. The water is beautiful and clear. The evening sunsets are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed sitting by the water playing Frisbee in the evenings waiting for the sun to set. It was beautiful every time. The condo building consists of only 18 units and it is very well maintained, clean and organized in all areas. During our stay it was very quiet and we had no issues with noise whatsoever. The master bedroom does sit on the side of the street so you do tend to hear cars and trucks passing during the day, but at night there isn't much traffic so it's pretty quiet. Wasn't an issue for us, but I did want to mention. We rented jet skis and paddle boards from a spot (Coastal Water Sports) about a 10 minute walk from the condo, which was very convenient. We did have a minor issue with the rental fee which I brought to the management company's attention and the issue was immediately resolved. There were two instances when we lost internet connection. I called the property management company and they suggested I restart the router which took care of the problem. There were some storms in the area, so that may have been the issue. This condo is great in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was certainly hard to leave the condo and do other things because I just wanted to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and the sound of the waves. There are plenty of towels and the washer and dryer come in very handy. The appliances are a little dated, but fully functionable. They serve their purpose. You do have to watch the refrigerator and be sure you close it tightly. There is a sign on the door to remind you. The owners mentioned they are in the process of updating the appliances, so I'm sure that will be resolved soon. The balcony could also benefit from a ceiling fan to make sitting out there a little more pleasurable. There are two mobile fans in the condo that we used on the balcony when there was no breeze. It's an amazing condo. We loved it and even considered staying one more day, but it was already booked. We would definitely return.
