There is a full kitchen with bar and stools, dining area, and living room with 42" HD flat screen, Bose sound system and DVD. The living room has a queen size sofa bed. The living room window door wall opens to the screened-in and covered deck offering the spectacular view of Lake Charlevoix. Venting skylight, air conditioning and heat for entire unit.

Spotless, convenient, every detail considered--highly recommended

Very impressed with this property! Spotlessly clean and every detail thought of to make your stay comfortable--down to the paper towels, Ziplock bags, 1/4 stick of butter in the fridge, full-size bars of soap in the showers plus liquid hand soap at the sinks, simple and clean cookware in the small but well-appointed kitchen, plentiful towels....so many thoughtful touches that are often missing at vacation rentals. Especially appreciated the keyless entry--with 4 people coming and going, it was helpful to set a simple code and not need to manage keys. As a Charlevoix native, I especially appreciated the artwork showing local sites like Horton Bay general store and Round Lake. The deck screening made for very enjoyable sitting with nice view over the marina to Lake Charlevoix, and allowed us to keep the sliding door open for breezes. We had a difficult time with ventilation due to the wind direction during our stay, but there are window AC units and ceiling/floor fans available for comfort. As noted in the description, the 2nd bedroom is a loft that's open to the main living space; keep that in mind if you're hoping to put youngsters to bed while the adults stay up. The main floor master is very private, however.

Easy walk to Ferry Beach, longer pleasant walk (~1 mile) to downtown.

Be aware that Charlevoix has a small airport, and this unit seems to be directly under a flight path. This is not much of an issue, because flights are pretty infrequent (at least mid-June), but it was startling the first time we saw a small private jet flying directly overhead on its way to landing!

The owner was very helpful and responsive and handled all the arrangements quickly and professionally. A great value--would highly recommend the property.
