Enchanted View Lodge is located in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest in a quaint, well-kept mountain neighborhood. After a beautiful drive through the rolling hills and farmland of Morganton you will venture off the beaten path and find yourself at the top of Eagles Ridge. Your ears will pop you'll be so far up above it all.
The cozy, eclectic cabin features a master loft with a queen bed, full bath, and catwalk to a private viewing deck, a main floor with a half bath, a fully stocked kitchen (we love to cook!), and a lower level suite with a queen bed, sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, gas fireplace, poker/bumper pool table, full bath, and W/D. Three levels allows for plenty of privacy but the main level and huge wraparound porch give you plenty of space and seating to sit and relax together.
When it's cold outside you can enjoy a nice warm fire inside by the wood burning fireplace, a nice fire by the chiminea, or relax in the 4-5 seater hot tub. When the sky is clear you see a MILLION stars in the sky from the deck and hot tub. You are so close, it seems you could reach up and touch them.
When it is warmer outside you'll enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset from the wraparound porch. You'll love sitting outside and enjoying your morning coffee. Then later in the day grilling out and watching the sun go down. The cabin has a large stainless steel grill ideal for BBQs.
When you're ready for a bit of outdoor activity a nice stroll around the neighborhood is a great option. You'll wind through the forest and see more amazing views from the neighborhoods lookout posts/viewing decks. The neighborhood really is enchanted.
For day trips you can venture to local wineries, breweries, Lake Blue Ridge, or the town of Blue Ridge and Morganton for shopping and great food. You'll have the best of all worlds here. Away from it all but close enough to enjoy all that the local towns have to offer.
We are two nature-lovers who like to get away from the stress of Atlanta and enjoy the simple life of the North Georgia mountains.
Melissa purchased this cabin in 2014
We love the area around Lake Blue Ridge. You've got downtown Blue Ridge for shopping, great food, breweries, and wineries and Morganton full of beautiful, scenic farms and mountains. Then you have Lake Blue Ridge in between. We have the best of worlds from our cabin. We aren't far from the city of Blue Ridge but far enough away to feel like to you have really escaped. We even love the drive up! Plus, when you enter the neighborhood itself, you know it's an enchanting place. The neighborhood is even named is Enchanted Forrest. On top of that it's in the Chattahoochee National Forest, which is a favorite of ours.
We were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the moment we saw this cabin we knew it was the one. We wanted a cabin with character, one located in a beautiful mountain neighborhood in the middle of the Chattahoochee Forest with a beautiful drive through the country and well, we got all of it. The cabin boasts 180 degrees of mountain views and at an elevation over 2,500 ft so you are really above it all. You'll see the sunset, the sunrise and you won't hear anything but the rustling of leaves. It was so important to us to not hear a single car and that's exactly what we got. It really is the most peaceful place.
Plus, the neighborhood itself is fantastic. We have the nicest neighbors. People who pride themselves in the area and want to take good care of it.
Awesome wrap around porch with mountain views takes your breath away
Cozy and comfortable living space, open to the kitchen and dining area
Great walk-in ‘basement’ area; good for two families or a space for the kids to hang out
Just the right distance from Blue Ridge
Hot tub is perfectly placed for star gazing
Charming and attractively decorated
My husband and I stayed in this charming cabin for our anniversary. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. Getting to town was easy and there is great food and shopping, but we only left the cabin for one meal in Blue Ridge! The owners provided everything we could have possibly needed to make this cabin feel like a home away from home. Taking a walk through the community was the perfect outdoor activity for us each evening, and then we came back to relax in the hot tub.
We will DEFINITELY be returning to this getaway VERY soon. I cannot think of anything that would make it more perfect! Everything was as described, and the owners were extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with! We have stayed in multiple cabins in North Georgia, and this one has by far been our favorite!
My 2 girlfriends and I stayed here in the spring and had a great time. The cabin has everything we needed. Very comfortable, cute decor, a hot tub with amazing views and a deck with a grill. We made steaks, drank wine, sat in the hot tub, made a fire and just hung out. The town of Blue Ridge was not far (although I wouldn't want to do the drive up to the cabin too many times in a weekend) and was a fun place to walk around, eat and shop. Loved our weekend!
Lake Blue Ridge is nestled between Blue Ridge and Morganton. Here you can kayak, canoe, jet ski, rent boats, picnic, and more.
Downtown Blue Ridge has lots of great shopping and dining for a day in the "city".
Serrenberry Vineyards is a quick 4 miles away and features a quaint tasting room, outdoor seating with fire pit, and fabulous wines. The best North GA wine we've had!
Lake Blue Ridge outfitters, located in downtown Morganton offers guided tours and rental equipment for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and more.
