Summit at Snoqualmie A-frame Cabin at Summit Central

Overview

About the property

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Even though you are across the street from Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Area and an hour from downtown Seattle, you'll feel like you're tucked away in the woods.

There is a small bedroom on the first floor with a queen sized bed, a comfortable sleep-away queen-sized couch in the living room, and a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds. There are two fold-out twin beds on the upstairs loft landing. The upstairs is a great kid-zone and is fairly loft-like. There are stairs leading upstairs, but they are narrow and can be climbed like a ladder.

The living room is open-concept, with a kitchen in one corner and a wood burning stove near the ceiling to floor windows.

There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub and washer/dryer on the first floor.

We are right across the street from Summit Central ski area, but because we are tucked away from the road, it feels like we are in the middle of the woods! Walking distance to the base at Central and even closer to Central Express. The big a-frame windows have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains on a clear day, and an equally beautiful view of surrounding trees during low visibility.

Parking is available in the summer. When there is snow on the ground, you can park in the overnight lot across the street and walk about 100 yards to the cabin.

A shuttle runs to all of the Summit at Snoqualmie areas, from Hyak to Alpental. Close to the Nordic Area and walking distance to the Tubing Center. Not much need to move car once you get here when The Summit is open.

Please treat the house as if it were your own. This is not a corporate-owned condo, it is our family cabin, and we want you to enjoy it as such.

Dogs are welcome, but please keep them off of the furniture and clean up as needed.

No smoking, please.

About Audra

We are Audra and Jered, a couple who live in Seattle with our nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old dog. We enjoy snowboarding in the winter and all sorts of outdoor stuff in the summer. Great cozy place!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay and everything you need for a short stay is there. While the kids complained of no internet I think it’s a brilliant way to take a break from being connected on line!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. Our daughter also has internet withdrawl when we go to the cabin, but she eventually shakes it and we have space for true time together. We are glad you enjoyed yourselves!

A perfect cabin for a weekend away

  • 4 of 5

My friends and I were very happy with our stay. Cozy cabin with a beautiful view. We had a little snow but plenty of wood to stay warm. Would definitely recommend!

Nice comfortable cabin in the woods

Nice location for us to use as a base for a few days of fall hiking. Comfortable bed and furniture a definite plus. Will happily recommend it to friends.

Cute cabin. Well kept. Comfy bed.

  • 5 of 5

We never needed the fire. It would have been fun to light it. Cute cabin with comfy furniture. We also didn't use the kitchen, but I could see us using it in the future. It would be nice to have a sign at the end of the driveway to be able to find it easier. Maybe a Snowy Owl on a pole out there.
