Secluded retreat

We enjoyed our weekend. House was large enough to accomodate 3 couples and three kids in the lowest floor "man cave". Two top floor rooms get hot in the summer. Needed either a window a/c unit or screens on the window up there.

Couldn't ask for anything more!

We had a wonderful three days staying at the Snow Cabin. I have one brother living in Gaylord and another with a weekend place here. My other two brothers and I brought our families to the Snow Cabin for some family time after Christmas. We all gathered for several meals. The snowmobilers among us enjoyed the trails and snow--they were able to get to the trails right from the cabin. We also played Euchre and watched a slideshow of family pictures from 1935 to the present. It was a wonderful family weekend for all of us.

The living area is great for a crowd, the living room open to the dining room and kitchen. Kitchen is well-supplied. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Each sleeping area has its own heat control. The wood-burning stove added warmth and ambience. Everyone had their own space when needed and yet we were able to spend lots of time together. Every area of the home was clean. Everything worked the way it was supposed to and we had no issues throughout the three days we were there. Ken (the owner) was very accommodating and easy to work with. We generally choose a new place each year for our after-Christmas stay, looking for variety, but we all agreed we might just have to choose the Snow Cabin again next year!

Thanks, Ken, for doing such a great job.
