Wonderful location, clean and comfortable.

We are just on our way home after s super family weekend, any trip to Canmore and area is a treat. Our condo at Copperstone in Deadmans Flats was lovely. and having bedrooms to accommodate 6 adults was wonderful. Wes has a beautiful and well maintained unit. We were very comfortable and look forward to a return visit!

Great place to stay!!

We stayed at this condo on the long weekend in September 2016. We were visiting Canmore for our grandson's hockey camp. It is just as it looks in the pictures. No surprises. It was very comfortable for a family of six. 4 adults and 2 teens. The beds and linens were wonderful, very comfortable. The living area and dining area very good for family socializing and meals. There is also a hot tub, bar-b-que and patio seating area in the center courtyard. It is about 5 minutes to Canmore and a great alternative to staying in a hotel. The owner, Wes Braden, was very accomodating and wonderful to deal with. He was quick to get back to us by e-mail with any questions or concerns. We would certainly stay there again in the future.

Nicely appointed condo, but not in Canmore

The beautiful new condo was perfect for our group of 6. Two couples each had large bedrooms with very comfortable beds and our young adult daughters shared the bunk bed room and found the beds there comfy too. The condo had everything we needed and we were pleased with the underground parking, especially as we had some impressive thunderstorms during our stay.

A few things to note: this condo is not in Canmore but a 10 min drive east of the town in the hamlet of Deadman's Flats. This was OK but you definitely need to drive to do anything except go to one of the gas stations or the cute little Mad a Dog Cafe on the service road in front of the condo. We had problems with the electronic key pads to enter the garage (use the code for the suite plus *, not the garage code noted in the access instructions) and the suite. Wes tried to reset the keypad code for the suite a few times before finally giving us an emergency code that worked well.

There is a park pass for your car in the info binder in the suite. Would have been nice to know this as we had 2 vehicles and bought a 2nd pass before we checked in to the condo.

There is a very loud and almost constant hum that seems to come from the air conditioning unit on the building facing the condo. Irritating if you like to sleep with the window open. Finally, the garbage and recycling bins that were in front of the main building by the garage door when we arrived disappeared till the last day of our stay. We ended up crossing the road to use the garbage and recycling bins behind the gas station.

Overall, we had a great stay with some minor irritations.

Fantastic accommodation for family reunion.

We had a great 4 day stay for a group of 8(We were arriving from Fort Mcmurray, Kamloops, South Carolina and Washington DC). People arrived at different times and Wes was extremely accommodating in adjusting check in time. The property is visible from the highway and seems to be run independent of the resort. Parking for 2 big SUVs in the parking deck was not at all a problem. The unit is clean and was ready with basic amenities for cooking and cleaning provided. The only gripe(if any) is that the WIFI is really really slow but to be honest, on a vacation to Banff, lesser the incentive to get online, the better. Wes and group also provided us with a Banff Natl. park pass for the car and that is really a BIG bonus. The resort itself is quite nice and has night time patrol for security and noise control. Dead Mans Flats is quite conveniently located from all the paces one would like to go to in Banff. Canmore, which is a 20 min drive has all the grocery stores and a fantastic Thai restaurant(Thai Pagoda) for takeout. The town of Banff itself is about 30 minutes away and our lunch at Touloulou was great for lunch. Overall- will totally recommend this place.

Banff Vacation
