Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Norwegian Heritage.Home with cute carved Bears that welcome your arrival in the mountains. My grandchildren loved the house and played in the snow for the first time in their lives. Thank you Vacasa!
I rented the cabin for my wife's bday. The cabin is located in a nice area where the cabins are beautiful! The cabin's is at the end of a cul-de-sac and very private. The views are amazing! The bedding was also very comfortable. One of the amenities were we looking forward to was using was the Jacuzzi; however, it was not working and the temperature would not warm up and the water was too cold! We also did not have the key code to the garage; therefore, had no lights during the night for the Jacuzzi. One of the creepy aspects of the cabin is there are several family pictures displayed throughout the cabin. The vintage pictures are on the nights stands and in the living room. We kindly placed the pictures face down throughout our stay. I feel the cabin would be too small for 10 people as listed. All and all, I feel the rental price is in line with what you get.
This was a great cabin for our party size, 4 kids-4 adults. We really enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed another night or two! All the kids (11 year olds) stated they wanted to live there. LOL. Upscale neighborhood with amazing log homes all around. Though other log homes are close, it still felt private enough. This cabin is at the end of a cul-de-sac. A couple of the reviews mention the "creepy trolls", but we didn't find them creepy at all. They blended well enough with the decor that they did not stand out, and they clearly represented the owner's heritage, Danish I'm guessing. If you are going to use the jacuzzi at night, be sure to get the key code for the garage at check-in because that's where the light switch for the outside lights for that area is. Also, the A/C does not work very well, it was a little stuffy during the day. Beautiful views from porch and loft area. There are many cabin rental choices in Big Bear, but we were very happy with our choice to rent this one. I felt the rental price was in-line with what you get with this rental.
