Great vacation.

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Cabin. It is located on a beautiful, quiet cove that was great for floating the hours away. The only real problem we encountered is the shoreline is very high, too high for our 115 lb. Saint Bernard to be able to get herself out of the water. We were able to pull her up from the dock and she still had a great time, but just wanted to mention the shoreline as information to other potential renters.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying - but not much we can do with the shore. The lake is created and you have to maintain the way the shore falls. If you need a way in and out- then you need to have a flat lot with a beach - they are very hard to find here- book about 2 years ahead in the summer - just an fyi - they also cost 4 times as much- we know we have a few in our inventory. I have a saint bernard and look for flat lots - so I know what you are talking about.. However we are very glad you had a great time there and the pup. Some travelers bring in a portable ramp for their dog and attach to floaters- they are easy to use and you can go anywhere with this..

Hence why everyone loves the cosiness about the home - this cabin has it all...from the stone fireplace to the hot-tun, high speed, canoe, deep water , gorgeous views of the mountain... thank you again - and hope to see you soon ! fall colors surrounding this cabin are spectacular!

The property was great. Loved the location and the overview of the water. The set up was nice.

Everything about this house was amazing. The set up of things were great. You didn't have much room but it was plenty being we didn't stay indoors the entire time. The house was really clean, a lot cleaner than I had expected. Now time to plan for another trip!

Wonderful Place!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a lovely time relaxing at this beautiful cabin! Great views and amenities! Only thing I would fix would be the discrepancy of check-out times from our confirmation email vs what the book in the cabin said. Other than that, it was perfect!!

Great house and extras

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time staying at this house. Pictures do not do it justice. The dock and canoe are great, the grounds are great. Not too many places to sleep but we only had two people.

cozy and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed this property - it had everything we needed to "get it away from it all" for a few days and, best of all, it was dog-friendly. It was too warm outside for us to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit, but we made the most of the great dock and screened in porch and enjoyed watching movies together at night from the large selection of family-friendly videos.
