Bedrooms 4
Space 2,100 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 - 4 nights

About the property

A Newly Renovated 2000 Square Foot, Open 2-story Great Space For Gathering.

This roomy-open floorplan, 2-story log cabin was newly constructed in 2009 in a quiet wooded neighborhood. The entire interior was newly appointed in Nov/Dec 2014 with a new kitchen, central heating, a new master bathroom and furnishings.

The cabin has a rustic and authentic mountain cabin feel to it. You are surrounded by huge pine logs, an open 2nd floor loft and pine paneling throughout.

4 roomy bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs) give you plenty of room to relax. There are 3 bathrooms, each with a shower, 2 are downstairs, 1 is upstairs. Two bedrooms have CalKing beds, one has a queen size bed, and the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and twin on top. A queen sofa bed is also available in the upstairs loft. We provide all bath towels and sheets and blankets and kitchen supplies.

There are two roomy gathering areas for games and meals:

Downstairs, a great-room living area has comfortable leather seating for 10, with cable TV. Also, an open kitchen features an island with seating next to a huge dining table with 8 comfortable chairs. The kitchen has a new electric oven/stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker and water in the door. A coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, plenty of wine glasses, plenty of serving platters/bowls.

Upstairs we have a second television with cable, 2 couches, a game table and a poker top. French doors lead to an upper deck.

Parking in front for 2-3 cars. In the Spring/Summer months there is plenty of street parking. From 11/15 to 5/1 there is no street parking.

The spacious back yard is fenced for privacy and it features a propane gas fire table with 8 chairs. A propane barbeque grill is available.

Great house. Really inviting and well equipped.

  • 5 of 5

Judi did a fantastic job getting us all the information we needed well ahead of time. The house is lovely, comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. She even offers gear for the lake! We liked the neighborhood too, and enjoyed the short walk to the marina, pizza place and coffee shop. Great experience, we will definitely come back.

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect place at beautiful Lake Tahoe for a family vacation! Tahoma is quiet but close to Tahoe City for any grocery shopping or browsing the shops. The house is very clean and has been updated. The beds are comfortable. We had a group of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and a 9 month old baby. It was roomy enough for us to play games, read or watch tv. You will find everything you will need to cook in the remodeled kitchen. The table will seat 8 with a high chair for the baby. Dressers or shelves are provided in the 4 spacious bedrooms. 3 bathrooms with showers were just right for our group. We used the beach chairs, beach towels, the fire pit and the barbecue. Our favorite spot to swim was Sugar Pine Point State Park which is a short drive. We enjoyed being on a quiet woodsy street in Tahoma and close to the lake. Thank you Judi for being easy to work with and having lots of information available for us. It was a wonderful week.

Beautiful cabin!!!

  • 5 of 5

This place was perfect! We came out to Tahoe to get married, my now husband has a family condo right down the street, but we needed a couple more places for family and friends. My husband and I chose to stay here with our friends! It was perfect walking distance to our family condo and to the dock I was getting married on, the layout of the cabin was amazing!

The only thing I wish it had was screens on the windows. Being in the master bedroom on the bottom floor I was a little nervous to leave the window open. And my friends said bugs were coming into the house so they had to close the windows upstairs and it got really warm at night with all the windows closed.

Other than that it was a perfect location and we would totally stay here again for big family gatherings! Thanks so much!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review!! You were wonderful guests. We are working on installing windows this Fall, and expect to alleviate the interior temperature during hot Summer weather. We appreciate your feedback.

New cabin with awesome location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Judi's cabin over New Years and had a fantastic experience. Judi was a great host, accommodating both an early check in and late check out. We had a major power outage during our stay and she made sure that we were comfortable throughout. Very clean with modern finishings and a great location walking distance to the lake. We'll be back if we ever need a larger house for extended family/friends!

Owner's Response: Darryl's group was there for a massive power failure on the west side of the lake! Fortunately it lasted just 6-8 hours, but it prompted me to add written directions to our home guide (paper version) for dealing with power failures, because we are in the mountains, and trees fall on power lines (drought).

Relaxing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Wanted to get away from a busy work life for some quiet time with family. Ample room for 7 adults and 5 children. Cabin is beautiful with comfortable furnishings. Kitchen is well stocked with the appropriate items needed to prepare food. There is plenty of toiletries, bath towels and beach towels. Location is very convenient, we were able to visit several parts/trails and keep to the younger children's nap schedule. Meeks Bay is very close by and is absolutely gorgeous. Within walking distance is a pier, small park, coffee shop that also serves gelato and a pizza place which I recommend. The owner was quick to respond to inquiries and was also able to expedite my damage deposit within 1 day of departure. The price of the rental is also very reasonable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and we will be looking to stay here again.

Utah Family

This modern cabin was perfect for our week at Tahoe with our three older boys. We found the cabin very clean and well furnished to make our stay care free and we felt right at home. We are considering staying there again and would recommend it to any friend or serious enquirer.

The furnishings were great with everything we needed for cooking and preparing food, board games, horseshoes, lounge chairs for the beach, bedding and bathroom supplies. The property manager and owner were very responsive to inquiries and furnished an iron for clothes for the wedding we attended.

We enjoyed being close to the lake and the state park with hiking and biking trails we took advantage of without having to drive. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors friendly. Lake Tahoe is a great place for vacationing any time of year and we enjoyed the mosquito free evenings at this property.
