This is a super deluxe duplex apartment in a historic brownstone building with a private entrance. The first floor is a floor-thru w/ a spacious living room and study that opens into a large dining room followed by a galley kitchen with Sub-Zero refrigerator, a glass breakfast atrium and patio-garden in the rear. There is also a grand piano for entertaining. For additional guests, there is a very comfortable queen sofabed in the living room with a sliding pocket door that closes for privacy. By the entrance to the dining room, there is a twin sofabed that works great for kids. The 2nd floor has a king bed and an alcove twin bed. There are also 2 full baths and 2 TVs upstairs/down with cable/wifi. Great location with subway station (1/2/3 lines) just around the corner. Nearby are many shops, restaurants, a Trader Joe's market and Zabar's, Central Park and Lincoln Center, all walkable. There are air conditioning and heating units both upstairs and downstairs.

The property was as promised and was an oasis for my family in the summer heat. It was a GREAT location with easy to access all the city has to offer via foot and/or the 72nd St Metro Station. The unit was classy, well stocked, and very comfortable! Thanks Richard and Wayne, we look forward to coming back!!!
Our main goal for visiting NYC was to see as many sites on our list as we could in a one week period, so location was key. This beautiful, brownstone walk-up was perfectly located. A block and half from a subway stop and a couple of blocks to Central Park was ideal. Not only did we hit every site we wanted but some additional ones as well. EASY! This home is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, quiet and has some pretty epic surprises as well. Turns out, several performers that end up at Lincoln Center, have stayed there. They have their framed photos on the walls, all lovingly signed with big "Thank You's" to the owner. I won't spoil the surprise of who they were, you will have to stay there to find out! If you really want to feel like a New Yorker, put a couple of chairs out on the stoop during sundown, open a bottle of wine and just watch the city pass by!
My family and I enjoyed staying at Richard's apartment very much. The apartment is nicely kept and the team working for Richard is well organized. Location is good and quiet, it's just a short walk to the 72th Street subway station if you want to get on the A, B, C train. And you can get taxis and uber very easily. And there are good restaurants in the same street and eateries at the corner. Trader Joe is just a few minutes away.
I like the breakfast corner in the apartment a lot, you can feel the sun. I will definitely go back if the apartment is available when I go back to New York.
My wife and two adult children stayed for a week. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beds were comfortable, location was perfect ( right around the corner from 72nd Street subway), and the service provided by Richard's support staff was fantastic. My favorite space was the breakfast nook in the sunroom. I enjoyed cofee there in the mornings while planning our days adventures. We would love to stay at this property with our next return.
Great location, near the subway station and a few minutes walk from Central Park. The house has a large bedroom on the first floor and the ground floor a fitted kitchen with a breakfast area very nice, inviting and bright that overlooks a small garden. Apart from some minor problems with the heating, we are very happy with our choice because 'there seemed to be at home. Thank the owner and also his assistant for their availability 'and kindness.M.D.SOFIA
We thoroughly enjoyed being in this beautiful two floor unit. In the city on business as well as visiting our daughter, who was a student just down the street, the owner suggested she stay with us in the unit as well so the family could be together. Absolutely loved having coffee in the glass-roofed kitchen eating area in the mornings and relaxing in the evenings on comfy sofas. Our daughter was even able to practice her singing with the piano there as a bonus. This truly was a home away from home and we hope we can be guests there again soon!
