About Paige Eshelman

I own several properties in Moran most of which are off Buffalo Valley Road which has the most amazing views of the Grand Tetons. I live in Texas but love to escape the summer heat by visiting Wyoming.

Paige Eshelman purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Paige Eshelman chose Moran

It is a little closer to the main road than my other properties and a little more secluded.

Great cabin retreat ...

  • 4 of 5

Just returned from WY and am so glad that we chose this cabin as our 'home away from home'. It was the first time to the area for our group and this location made for an excellent spot to start and end each day.

Beautiful, peaceful, centrally-located cabin!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our time in this amazing cabin was simply wonderful!!! We arrived after a long day of driving to a welcoming, clean, well-furnished cabin with everything we needed. Paige was awesome in helping us identify things to do while there and James, the property manager, was so helpful with any questions we had, including where to see wolves - as well as keeping the property in great shape!

We felt it was a great location for accessing both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, as well as driving down to Jackson for the gunfight, the rodeo and a chuckwagon dinner at the Bar J. And, when we had finished a long day of hiking, walking, driving or whatever we chose that day, it was such a nice ending to a long day to finish it relaxing at this beautiful property. It was a great value for the cost and cost was a major factor in going on this trip at all for our family.

Our family of 4 and a set of grandparents went and this was the perfect accommodation for our group. We would all love to stay there again and would recommend it highly. We take with us great memories of a wonderful vacation in a beautiful setting - even down to the occasional deer that would walk by the cabin in the mornings.

Fantastic Cabin in a Great Location

  • 5 of 5

I can't overstate how great our stay in this Moran cabin was!

The Location: It is 33 miles north of Jackson, in Moran, WY. Even if you are a 'townie' this isn't a big deal. As you drive south to Jackson, you'll pass by bison herds on your left and the Tetons on the right. The 40 min ride seems to take no time at all. The views just keep coming and don't get old. Access to GTNP's Jenny and Taggart Lakes and Jackson Lake Lodge are great (20 - 30 min). The north entrance to GNTP is a few miles away. If you are headed to this area to catch Yellowstone too then you have a head start since you are 40 min north of Jackson. Going back south, it you take Spring Gulch Rd then it cuts off 20 min to get to Teton Village. Services in Moran are pretty sparse so I would recommend stocking up at the grocery store on your way in through Jackson.

The Cabin: It is the best value I could find for 50 miles. Price was a factor for us and it was half (on a per night basis) than any similarly sized/appoionted Jackson residence. Hands down, it was the absolute best value I could find in the area. It was clean, spacious, well appointed, and everything worked. The beds were comfortable and it was awesome being able to have coffee on the porch every morning. Being tucked away up a hill in a small, sparsely populated subdivision, it is extremely quiet and was very safe for our kids. The permanent neighbors were friendly and welcoming. If you are looking to be seen and hang with the Teton Village folks, then this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for a great quiet place to call home for awhile, recharge your batteries and relax, then this is definitely it.

The Staff: The property manager, James, is extremely responsive and showed an unrivaled attention to detail. He asked us about what board games the kids are interested in playing... Next morning, James shows up with Jenga and a couple of other games! Totally unexpected and not even requested but much appreciated. The management company that we booked thru was also extremely responsive, very helpful, working with us on dates and providing good recommendations on things to see and do.

We have used VRBO numerous times and this was by far our best experience. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a good solid cabin, in a fantastic location, that is a phenomenal value. We were sad to leave and can't wait to get back for a return trip to this cabin next year!

Clean, well-equipped cabin in peaceful setting

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in June at the 2/2 cabin was extremely pleasant. The house was spotless and very well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our vacation. The caretaker, James, was outstanding, and if there was something we needed, he would immediately respond. The location of the cabin is near the northeast (Moran) entrance to Grand Teton, which allowed us to spend much time in Grand Teton, as well as trips to Yellowstone. There are several restaurants within a few minutes of the cabin. This is certainly a cabin in which we plan to stay again!
