From the minute you drive down the private road to the secluded home, you will know the vacation has begun! This gorgeous one-of-a kind customized home in an upscale neighborhood has many upgraded features. Home is nicely decorated with French doors throughout. Warm, inviting, and comfortable feel. Unobstructed wide views of San Elijo Lagoon, backcountry, mountains, Rancho Santa Fe, and hot air balloons.
This luxury living property is perfect for friend, couples, and family get-aways with golf, the ocean, and race track all in very close proximity. Close to shops, restaurants, and freeways for easy access to all of San Diego's wonders.
The Great Room has two sitting areas. One is beautifully furnished around a gas fireplace. The other area has leather couches and ottoman arranged for easy viewing of the television in the built-in custom entertainment unit.
The backyard has a resort-courtyard feel with it's lovely landscaping and 1000+ sq.ft. patio with quartzite stone. Backyard offers dramatic 40' cliff backdrop. Various areas on the patio are set up with wrought iron tables, chairs, chaise lounge, and gas fireplace. Jenn-Air stainless BBQ.
The kitchen has Viking stainless appliances throughout. The center island has two bar stools and plenty of counter space. Cabinets are well-stocked with everything you need for cooking and entertaining. Kitchen has two sets of French doors that open out to the patio courtyard.
Upstairs has a spacious and secluded master suite with Jacuzzi-tub in the bathroom. Master bedroom also has a gorgeous built-in custom wood entertainment unit with 50" flat screen television, a gas fireplace, a leather comfy chair and ottoman for reading. Two sets of balcony French doors with backcountry and mountain view. Two bedrooms on first floor are warmly decorated and have attached bathrooms.
In addition to the home's 3 bedrooms, there is a nicely furnished home office with 2 large desks, printer, custom built-in cabinets with book shelves, and a comfortable reading chair. This room can be set-up with either a crib or an Aerobed...either or both will be provided upon request.
Home has central heat and air conditioning. Warm LED lighting throughout. 3 vehicles can park on the circular driveway and additional parking for 3 vehicles on the private driveway in front of the house.

This owner managed home in Solana Beach is close to the racetrack, numerous beaches, many attractions, great restaurants, and close to the freeways which means you are located not far from anywhere you want to be.

This coveted property overlooks the protected San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve, one of the regions largest coastal wetlands with over 700 species of plants, animals, and awe-inspiring rare and migratory birds. It is only a short walk away with 7 miles of terrific hiking trails (with naturalist guided Weekend Walks) and the solace of nature. Solana Beach has miles of scenic paths for biking, walking, and/or running.

Review of property
The property is well maintained and in a great location in Solana Beach. It felt like a large 3BR casita at a nice resort. The courtyard is very private and well designed for outdoor dinners. The private street was quiet. Everything was considered in the planning of the property and the hosts were very considerate and thorough during our stay. We highly recommend this property for other visitors.

excellent summer vacation
Solana beach is the perfect place in San Diego to spend your summer, it is close to everything and has almost private beach that does not get full in summer. This house is very cousy and has a great design perfect for 6-8 persons equipped with everything you could need, it has a great kitchen, excellent leaving room and a great garden perfect for bbq's and enjoy the sunny days in California. i stayed with my family for 26 nights and everyday was a great experience, it is near to the beach, excellent restaurants and all the attraction San Diego has to offer.

Loved This House!
My husband and I booked this quiet, private Solana Beach home with two other couples for a week. Every inch of this home is beautifully appointed and immaculate. The bedrooms/bathrooms are laid out to allow plenty of privacy for everyone, and there is also lots of space to congregate in either the gorgeous kitchen/dining area, the cozy living room, or the relaxing outdoor patio.
It was easy to take advantage of all that the San Diego area has to offer from this location. You do need a car to get around but we never felt like we had to drive very far to see the sights. We were able to easily visit Balboa Park, downtown San Diego, Coronado Island, Torrey Pines National Park, Shelter Island, and of course, several beautiful nearby beaches.
There is such a wide variety and number of fabulous restaurants in the area that we had trouble deciding which ones to try. I can honestly say that we were never once disappointed, which is really saying something, coming from a bunch of Chicagoans. One night after an especially long day of sightseeing we decided to try to cook dinner at the house, which turned out to be really fun.There's a big grill on the patio and the kitchen was extremely user friendly. The house has a great sound system, too.
As in most cities there were many opportunities for shopping, but Solana Beach has a particularly charming shopping area called Cedros Avenue Design District. The shops, boutiques, and galleries are all unique, with interesting one-of-a-kind merchandise and artwork. Definitely worth a visit.
The owners of this home were extremely nice and very accommodating with our needs and schedule. It was a pleasure to work with them and we were so grateful to have found such a perfect spot. All six of us highly recommend this lovely home and beautiful San Diego!

This luxury home is situated in a fabulous location in North County...between the towns of Del Mar and Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Loads of great beaches, restaurants, and stores all close by. Numerous nice beaches like Fletcher Cove, Seaside Beach, Cardiff, and Del Mar are only minutes away from the house. Fletcher Cove has outdoor showers and bathrooms on site. Before walking down to the beach, there is a grass area, basketball court, and playground for children. The Del Mar Race Track/Fairgrounds is a 5 minute drive from the house (2.2 miles). The summer race season is from mid-July through Labor Day. Fall race season is October 29 - November 29. Del Mar Fair runs from mid-June through July 4th. Cedros Shopping District and The Amtrak/Coaster station is just 3 minutes away (1.1) miles.
