Overview

About the property

Private Cedar log cabin

We have two private log cabins. The other one can be found at VRBO 436488. Lots of reviews as we've just started renting this one. This private cedar log cabin is 600 sq ft with a loft and full bathroom. Also has a screened in gazebo with lots of decks. The two cabins are about 150 yards apart separated by trees so still very private. There is the beautiful Joffre Creek which borders the north side of the property and originates from Joffre Lakes. The property is 3.5 acres but surrounded by crown land so there are no neighbors. It is a very peaceful property to relax after a great day exploring the Pemberton back-country.

We also have a property (4 bedroom house In Lions Bay (25 mins north of downtown Vancouver) that we rent. It can be viewed at VRBO 786522. Some guests have started to do a combination rental to experience the back-country and Vancouver area.

Please take note that VRBO may quote rate in US dollars. Top right corner of rates page will relate currency.

Lovely cabin, 100% Recommend

  • 5 of 5

Scott was very responsive and quick to answer the questions I had prior to staying at the cabin. He even includes a convenient PDF list of things to do in the surrounding area of Pemberton. Scott answered his phone when we arrived at the cabin to answer further last minute questions we had (even during the holidays)! The cabin was tidy, well-kept, and impressive. There were clean linens, fresh towels, and everything you need to cook, including soap, sponge, utensils, and cook ware. All in all, you can tell that this cabin is well-loved and taken care of. We definitely had a romantic getaway! The couch downstairs converts into a bed, which is big enough to accommodate 2 other people. The cabin is stunning, and we got to experience it during the winter time with the snowfall! The gazebo is also a great place to hang out (when it isn't freezing winter time). I definitely recommend this cabin for all those seeking a quaint getaway.

Fantastic cabin escape

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic getaway location. Cabin is exactly as described. Simple but has everything you need for your stay and immaculately clean on arrival. Tucked away off the highway but an easy drive from pemberton. Scott was on hand to answer questions and provide info for our stay. Would 100% recommend.

Great Cabin and Visit

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is easy to reach from Vancouver and provided a great weekend getaway. Host was very receptive and available by phone. No problems getting access. It was very clean and provided everything we needed. The only caution, is the ladder to the bedroom loft requires a bit of 'agility.'

Beautiful cabin in great location

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the cabin was amazing! Beautiful, clean place with a lot of charm.

Most importantly- the location- we wanted to explore Joffre lakes and the cabin is only 15min away from them!

The surrounding of the cabin is also stunning! The creek and small waterfall passing by is so amazing! I can defenitely recommend it and would also stay again in future!

Cool and comfortable cabin!

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I had a great stay at Scott's cabin for 2 nights in June. It was the perfect size for our needs with a fully equipped kitchen and also had a charcoal BBQ to use, which we took advantage of one night. The loft sleeping area is really cool and so long as you don't mind climbing up the short ladder you'll be guaranteed to love it. Super cosy and a pretty neat view out the front of the cabin from up there too. It's just outside Pemberton but close enough that you can pop in and out as you need to without even thinking about it. Thanks Scott! Highly recommend staying here!!
