Cozy cottage, convenient location

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a comfortable, cute cottage close to everything in C d'A then this place is for you. Rob was easy to communicate with and he and his wife left some fun little snacks for us...which our young adult children quickly devoured! The place was very clean and perfect for us. If we ever needed a place in C d'A again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Also, they left a binder full of restaurant recommendations which we tested out...all very good! If you are eating Paleo, be sure to go to Michael D's for a paleo waffle! And if you want full on sweet treat, head to Jimmys Down the Street for the best pecan roll you will ever eat. Big enough to share with the whole table! Both restaurants are very convenient to the cottage!

Lovely house with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

I was very pleased with this house. It is super clean, cutely decorated and has everything you need. It is conveniently located. I came to town for a conference at the resort and it was a very short drive. We enjoyed our evenings on the porch with the cool summer breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Great, welcoming home! We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very clean and well looked after home with all the amenities and then some. The location is great. It's just a short walk to downtown and close to the beach. We enjoyed everything about this house. From the front porch with swing to the nicely appointed kitchen with new appliances, including gas stove and fridge with ice maker. Rob and Paula have thought of everything a family needs to make it feel like a home away from home, even a very nice welcoming basket for our family on our arrival. Our kids particularly enjoyed the games left for wind down time or rainy days. I enjoyed the new barbecue and separate master bathroom. Even though it reached 100 degrees three days in a row the main floor bedrooms cooled off more than enough at our boys bedtime, due to large shade trees and ceiling fans in the rooms. The upstairs bedroom has it's own AC, no issues there as well. The day we checked out we were talking about hopefully coming back to Coeur D'Alene in the next year or two and to stay at this house in particular. We want to thank Rob and Paula for helping make our family vacation so enjoyable and memorable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone to rent this house.

Ironman Perfection

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with our family for IM CdA 2016. What a perfect location and lovely hospitality. Having a place to call home during our time in Coeur d'Alene was priceless. Cooking meals, enjoying the front porch swing, walking down town... We loved it all. The home itself is stunning, filled with old time charm and modern amenities. Highly recommended!

Well Appointed Cottage!

  • 4 of 5

The owners have gone out of their way on this historic home! The appliances and amenities are all high quality (much more than the mid grade I often see in rentals) and plentiful. The bedding, linens and towels are clean and lovely and the dishwasher is nearly silent. They have installed an AC unit upstairs to beat the worst of the afternoon heat and the trees shade the downstairs interior well enough that it's not needed. Although the master shower is a just little bit small, it works just fine for it's intended purpose and having 2 full bathrooms in a historic CDA home is fantastic (and not common)! And we had one person in the family who fell in love with the upstairs bathtub. The communication from the owners is very clear and extremely helpful, and they had the most lovely welcome basket for us on arrival. There is a nice washer and dryer in the basement, which was very helpful during our week, and one person in the family enjoyed hanging in the basement "man-cave". All in all, we had everything we needed to make a lovely resting spot after all of our CDA adventures. Thank you Rob and Paula!
