Our charming 3 bedroom home is a short walk to historic downtown Petaluma. One block away is the cute Wickersham Park where they are known for their beautiful benches with rose trellises. The home has three bedrooms, 1 ½ baths and all freshly remodeled. Hardwood floors throughout the house and original artwork decorates the walls from local artists. The master bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of space in the room. The second bedroom has its own outside French door entrance with a queen bed and half bathroom. The second bedroom is great for someone wanting their own private space. The final third bedroom has two twin beds. In the home, there is a full bath with a cute vanity and a bathtub/shower with cute subway tile.
The remodeled kitchen has a retro look with an working old stove and retro double sink, but also the clean granite look throughout. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals at home. The dining room has a large table that seats six comfortably and can accommodate eight, if needed. The spacious living room includes a TV, comfortable sofa, chairs, and a entertainment unit. Off of the kitchen you'll find a washer and dryer. And of course, the home has wireless internet.
We are in the process of remodeling the furniture, so all of the details may be different.
Petaluma is centrally located in the wine country with easy drives to Sonoma and Napa. The home is only a thirty-minute drive to downtown San Francisco and the Sonoma coast. Tomales Bay, Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, and Jenner are some of the sites you'll want to see. And lots more.
I am an artist and teach art. You will see my artwork throughout the home. My family live locally, but love to travel. Your needs are easily met since we know the area so well and can help you with anything you need. Including referrals for babysitting, restaurants, golfing, and more.
Jennifer Richardson purchased this house in 2008
The property is in a great location and we remodeled it to meet all of your needs. We love the quaint, quiet neighborhood and then within minutes you are downtown, hiking, golfing or hanging out at the river.
This property is unique with the large outdoor space, the short distance to downtown and the river and comforts of the rooms.
My family loved staying in Jennifer's place. It is located a short walk from downtown which made it an easy walk for morning coffees. We also loved the outdoor area and we spent each evening relaxing there. Jennifer was very helpful and just a phone call away for any questions. And she was great to work with. Very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again
The home is close to a lot of coffee shops, restaurants, and little shops. Jen was great to work with and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place close to everything downtown Petaluma has to offer!
We enjoyed our three night stay in Petaluma. This property is perfect for families. We attended a wedding in Sonoma but the reception was in Rohnert Park, so the Petaluma location was perfect. The bride was my best friend, so my parents came from Los Angeles to attend the wedding. This home had an additional room with a private entrance which was perfect for my parents. They could easily come into the main house but they had their own personal space. The master bedroom was perfect for my husband and I and the bedroom with twin beds with perfect for our kids. We drove to a 50's breakfast place but could of easily walked to the restaurant. This house was a perfect location- nearby restaurants and other nice small business owned places. Our family would recommend this home. The owner even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a bonus is all the beautiful artwork throughout the house. We loved our stay.
My wife, two boys and myself were in Petaluma for a family wedding. This property in Petaluma was the perfect base camp for us. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful. She met us at the house for the check in and we had a wonderful conversation before she left us to settle in for the weekend. One of the most attractive features about the house in listing is the patio. We made great use of it with our extended family, enjoying some outdoor dining in the beautiful Petaluma night.
The Wi-Fi works great, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen was perfect to work in and original 1950s. The house is two short blocks from an awesome coffee shop in one direction and a half a block away from a beautiful little Rose Garden Park in the other. Just watch out for all of the crossFit crew as they work out there in the early morning hours!
we would rent this property again in a heartbeat .
We found this home to be quaint and full of character, a good value for the price. Loved the huge 1960's kitchen sink and stove. Bedrooms had comfortable mattresses, master bed and bath was so cute and spacious. We were three short blocks from downtown shopping and eating. The neighborhood had beautiful homes and gardens to observe. The back yard was well manicured and a nice place to relax. We would love to come back and stay again, would remember to bring jackets for the cool evenings.
We loved our stay! Our family found the property relaxing, close enough to town and just a short drive to the beach, wine country and San Francisco! The home gave us an opportunity to reconnect, enjoy beautiful views from the large deck and of course sleep in!
The home sits in a cute, quiet, safe neighborhood just minutes from the quaint downtown Petaluma. There are nearby hiking trails & breathtaking panoramic views. Petaluma historic riverfront downtown boasts award winning restaurants and shopping.
